Speaking of Looney Tunes, here's an awesome sequence from the movie Looney Tunes: Back In Action.

Conduit 2 is here
I've been blogging about this one, new trailer after new trailer...
And I still haven't bought Conduit 2....
Anyway, here's the latest trailer just for fun:
I loved the first one - let haters hate away.
It was fun. And the controls, highly customizable, were perfect.
Too bad it didn't do well amongst gamers, I'd love to have more FPS on the Wii, a console that seems build for FPS and point & click games....yet mostly gets party games and Nintendo own made titles.
Plus, agent Micheal Ford gets voiced Duke Nukem himself, Jon St. John in this new episode!

CBR Wha...HUH?
If you read comics, chances are, you probably know all those "alternate universes" stories, those What if... or Elseworlds books Marvel or DC like to put out from time to time, exploring alternate turn of events, other worlds and whatnots....
Well, here's something similar...yet totally different.
This isn't your classic What ifs, this is...

Movie NEWS! first pic of Peter Parker rebooted
The first pic of the brand new Peter Parker from the Spider-man reboot just surfaced..and..
Oh man...really?
I was ready to accept the redesigned Ben Reilly-inspired costume but this hip/sk8ter Peter might be a too much. Aren't ya trying to sell Spidey to kids a bit too much in this reboot?

Deleted Scenes - New unreleased Xbox Sonic game found
A new Sonic game has been discovered!
These seem to pop up every now and then, usually on 16/32-bits system.
This is one of those rare more recent canned Sonic games found by fans.
Sega just sold some Xbox development kits (the first original Xbox) which they didn't had a use for anymore.
On one of these, an early build of some undiscovered Sonic game was present.
It's (temporary) name? Sonic The Hedgehog: Extreme.

The media goes crazy about Superman giving up his American citizenship
Lately, the latest crazy bit of new in the media has been about Superman.
Yes, the fictional DC comic book character.
I guess it had been slow news day at FoxNews..
Anyway, they've all been going crazy about a little back-up story from David Goyer in Action Comics #900.
While it was a book about Supes going against a savage monster, Doomsday, the little feature by Goyer featured the above panels, of Superman "just saying" he renounced his American citizenship.
Coming after the "event" grounded where Supes was seen walking to reconnect with the people he uses to protect, I doubt this will have any lasting effect.
Yet the media had to go on a rampage like they usually do with Superman comics (Death of Superman anyone?)
Here it is:
Seriously guys? Ease up the coffee!
It's just a sidestory and not like we should care about Superman citizenship. First, isn't he an alien from the overall point of view of Metropolis/the world's population?
Secondly, he's just an act, Clark Kent's superheroic alter-ego. Not like a real person (it's not like Clark will renounce HIS citizenship!). Clark Kent's the real guy, Superman not. He grew up as Clark, and was educated as Clark, Superman is just Clark Kent's idea of a super hero.
And thirdly, he's a goshdarn' fictional character!!

Manga NEWS! Cobra
Nobody expected it (seriously did you?), one of the most popular animes in Europe from the last decade will be adapted into a full feature live movie!
And what anime is that?
Cobra: The Space Pirate!
Cobra was a classic scifi seinen manga (that means for adults, instead of teen mangas shonen).
A story about a bounty hunter half-cyborg guy called Cobra, armed with an arm-gun, who used to brainwash himself for infiltration missions and stuff. (which I always suspected as the inspiration behind Mega Man original look)
Alexandre Aja announced he will direct this (I quote) "faithful adaptation unlike anything we've seen so far."
The man was behind such movies as Piranha 3D, The Hills Have Eyes and High Tension.
And the first pic was just released on a french magazine, because of how popular it was there (I know it, I watched it on french channels!) and to help promote and hopefully finance the movie, with Cannes coming soon.
Here's the pic, enjoy!
He's got the look down!
He's got the arm-gun, the cigar...
And is that..huh...Tom Jane?? (no infos yet, the magazine wasn't released yet)
Can't wait!
(let's hope it doesn't turn into another Dragon Ball...huhhh..)

AtoZ - C is for... Cable
Eyz' ComicBook Alphabet Challenge!
Today, C is for... Cable!!
At first, I didn't like Cable. There. I said it!
But it was Fabian Nicieza's awesome writing on Cable & Deadpool and Nate's great portrayal that made me a fan.
Even if at its core, it's a pretty silly Terminator/Kyle Reese composite fancharacter by Rob Liefeld.
