Movie NEWS! new pics of DREDD

Here's another reboot.

They just released some new screenshots of the upcoming new Judge Dredd movie, simply titled DREDD.
It shows our main cast played by Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby.

It's not as explicit as an actual trailer, but it does give an idea of the movie's tone.
Check those out:

Click on the pics for larger resolution!

I dunno for you, but it looks like Urban's wearing the too-big-for-his-head-helmet Sylvester Stallone used in the original back in 1995...
That or they planned to have another actor originally, with a much larger head and went ahead and built that helmet for another guy...
A bit awkward. I mean, check it back, above!

The movie's expected for a September 21st release date.

Marvel NEWS! AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Trailer

Sony Pictures just released the official trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man movie reboot.

Up until now I had my doubts about this whole thing (I'd rather see Marvel have the rights to Spidey back)..
Don't mistake me, I still think the tone is overly serious and the visual waaaay to gritty for the web-crawler.
But this is looking a bit better now.

Wise-cracking Spidey? Hunted by cops? A Spectacular villain?
Check this out:

I'm still not a big fan of this whole movie's casting, but it looks like Mark Webb did a great job!
This will be on July 3rd.

Ad - The Dog Strikes Back

Here's a brand new random commercial Volkswagen did .

I'll just say this... Star Wars fans? Check this out!

Go Home and Be A Family Man!

Here's another classic victory-screen from yet another Street Fighter game.

Sometimes it was the Engrish, other times it was the silly captions that didn't work as well on each character, but there was always something fun outta these :P

Marvel NEWS! THE AVENGERS Trailer!

Like some big epic "fanfic" come to life, The Avengers is slowly but surely coming to screens everywhere.
Marvel just released a brand new trailer during the latest Super Bowl.

Enjoy it:

Loud, big, epic, flashy.. it's looking fantastic so far!
And I can't wait!
After turning the previous Marvel films into quasi-trailer for the anticipation of this crossover, they better not let us down on this :/

AwesomeScenes from Lois & Clark - Clark Kent compilation

Here's a best of Clark Kent scenes from Lois & Clark!

Dean Cain sure was fun to watch as Clark on this show.
I particularly enjoy those little "Superman strength/Clark goofs" scenes (like having Clark sneezing and a car flying off in the background :P)
Bwahaha!

Anyways, great show, timeless fun!~

ComicPanelsOfTheWeek: Deadpool: The Movie

The rumors about the live Deadpool movie are back.
If you had to adapt a movie about his adventures, why not simply ask the man himself his opinion...

Blog - It's cold

It's been a really weather these days.
Il fait froid en ce moment.

Here, all across Geneva, you can find these little water fountains all over the city.

They didn't turn them all off.

Today I found one with this big pile of iced water coming up like so:

It's magic!~

Dudes! How random!

*looks like Captain Cold is running lose once more, turning water into cold ice*

ComicPageOfTheWeekend: Steve Ditko's Ted Kord

Superman's Pal, Seinfeld!

It's a known fact, stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld is a big long-time Superman fan.
In fact, so much that mostly all Seinfeld (the TV series) episodes contain a Superman reference, be it visual, audible or alluded to.

AwesomeScenes from Family Matters - Steve Urkel plays basketball

Family Matters.
That's the whole memory of the 90s for me!
Good times, great show.

Now that's one example of a show I preferred AFTER it "jumped the shark".
I mean when it became all about Urkel and his shenanigans...now that's what I wanted to see more than the actual "family matters".

"Don't do drugs!" "Kids shouldn't carry weapons" "Take care of your loved ones"... Hey. stop that, look next door, Steve opened a wormhole to the 18th century Europe!! Mecha-Clones running amok in the streets!! Woah!

Anyways, here's an earlier scene from the show, when Steve played basketball...

Ha. That last bit about marrying Steve :P
Kinda ironic when you think about the end of the show XD

Laura cheerleading was a bit silly, but Steven and the epicness of that scene sure made that episode!

Drawing - Cir-El sketch

Here's something different for a change.

A sketch, a traditional inked hand drawn sketch on regular paper sheet.
(I tend to do waaaaay too much digital art these days..)

My favorite Supergirl, Cir-El!

Dumb luck or careful planning, most of the time inspiration's the key in a succesful job done right!

AwesomeScenes from Lois & Clark - The "You Know, I Know" conversation

Lois & Clark was a great Superman show in the 90s.
In my opinion, much better and fun than the over-brooding and seriousness-overload of Smallville.

Here's one of my all-time favorite scenes from this great show.
Little background here: Lois & Clark were asked to Perry White's office. To discuss "that thing".
Both think the chief knows about the whole Clark/Kal-El situation while Perry is talking about some secret reportage he thinks they're doing...

From Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman [1995].

Now, that's some awesome dialogue or what?! XD

Christopher Reeves might be my favorite Clark Kent/Superman of all time, but Lane Smith will always be the perfect Perry White in my eyes!
