Opening Theme - Fresh Prince of Bel Air intro
Here's a classic perfect theme song, if there is.
The theme song to Fresh Prince of Bel Air is still remembered by every one to this day :P
Ah, when Will Smith was both funny and cool. Good times.
Good ol' times.

Ad - Axe ANARCHY
What the hell did I just watch?!?
Axe released a new ad recently.
Check it out, it's random, very stupid...and, do they still sell to consumers with videos like this?
I mean, what's the message, what's the point?
"Use Axe - anarchy's good, you'll escape cops and make out with them instead" or sumthin'?!
Is this new line for women instead? Using Axe turns you into a sl##?
Anyway, like this wasn't bad enough, they're gonna make some random comic based on this new line (for real!!!), which I guess will prove all comic book stereotypes to be true.
And if that wasn't enough, Scott Lobdell will work on that. Yeah, the same guy that is working on the new Red Hood, Teen Titans and Superboy comics.
Because he's the perfect choice for that kinda comic, you know.

Toy NEWS! The Dark Knight Sinks
Thanks to some ad for toys in a comics/magazine, we now know how Bane and Catwoman will actually look like in Warner's upcoming flick Dark Knight Rises, and it's...
...and OH GOD! MY EYES!! IT BURNS!! HAAA!!
No, really. It's not that awful.
But they look bad.
Such...silly designs. Nothing iconic. You'll have them forgotten in 2 years top!
Bane is...ugh... And Catwoman seems to come from some random bad con/bank heist movie.

Here's another stand-up video!
This was Jerry Seinfeld's original HBO debut in 1981.
This is when the ball started rollin'.
JERRY STEINFELD!
What?!? XD
He was only starting out. They might have butchered his name. People might were probably doubting this young starting comedian. But once he started his routine they all slowly joined, laughing at his material!
Great performance for this would be-famous humorist!

Gamin' NEWS! Mass Effect LIVE
So, Bioware just released a live-action trailer for their upcoming Mass Effect 3 game.
It's kinda epic, all in all.
Short. Simple. But epic.
On another note, there's gonna be a Mass Effect manga now? Really?
And one featuring some kinda alternate reality/cute chibi art/school girl version of the ME gals?
Noooo! Nothing like that, you perverted mind.
Sort of like that Evangelion romance/comedy manga.
It's true!
It's gonna be drawn by the mangaka Michi Michiru. Showcasing the scifi universe of ME under a more mundane and silly point of view.

Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert discuss about adventure games
Not just glad to have launched a successful kickstarter project, Double Fine's Tim Schafer made this little video in which he and classic adventure game legend Ron Gilbert discuss about the genre and their carreer at LucasArts.

I really hope this turns out good, but the best of the genre's been coming from Europe these last bunch of years mostly.

Speaking of Rayman, I've been watching some shorts featuring the Rabbids from the Rayman Raving Rabbids games.
Ubisoft sure loves 'em (and I know, we all know, don't need to mention it, they've been stealing Rayman's storm these past couple of years..but now both franchises live perfectly fine and on their own separate side).
They've been making fun CGi videos with 'em since day one.
Here's a pretty funny one from the TGS 2009:

Sega NEWS! Sonic 4 Episode II trailer revealed
So, Sega finally let the trailer for their upcoming title Sonic 4: Episode II out.
After all those screenshots, we can finally see how it will all be in motion.
New engine, new visuals and better physic.
Also the gameplay will include some nice new original ideas thanks to Tails' help.
Here it is:
SONIC 4 EPISODE II - La vidéo des retrouvailles par SEGA
Looks lovely!
Love the much improvement look all around.
Thank god for an actual 3D engine. The previous CG rendered-2D just didn't do it for me...
Of course, playing Rayman Origins at the moment, it steps below that and I can see why this one's digital only and not a full retail feature....
It will b eout in Sprinh.

Twin Peaks parody on the Saturday Night Live
Here's a pretty epic parody of Twin Peaks, from the Saturday Night Live in the 90s.
Kyle MacLachlan was even sport enough to be a part and bring in some Cooper-authenticity to this whole thing.
Actually it aired on the show on that time he hosted an episode of SNL.
Lots of my all time favorite comics appear on this one, it was back when the "bad boys of the SNL" were part of the cast of the show. Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Mike Myers,...
Twin Peaks parody by Saturday Night Live (1990) par Malmignatte
Kinda changes the tone of the whole show, doesn't it?
Also, makes you think about things... What if.....
Right? :P

Fringe - A Sitdown with J.J. Abrams
So the awesome TV series Fringe is going into hiatus until March 23. (!!)
Boy, it's gonna be a long time to wait for the new episodes...specially after this cliffhanger...
The show's already turned into my favorite series, even more so than Lost previously. At least it embraces and goes exploring science fiction themes more openly.
Anyways, here's a little interview with the show's producer and co-creator J.J. Abrams!
You just don't see him talking about Fringe as often as Lost or Alcatraz (the latest production from Bad Robot).
Epic!
You heard the man! Watch the show, buy the DVD boxsets and support the show!
It's rare to see big epic scifi shows like this one on major networks nowadays, specially one as good as this one. Great production value, and incredible writing!
I really hope we'll get another (and why not even more) season(s)!
Can't they let Abrams direct a two-parter for the opening of the new season?
Anyways, in the mean time, enjoy the series. I'll be watching all the "Fans Ask" videos on Fox's own youtube channel.

CBR Rann–Thanagar War
Time for some more Mystery in Space!!
Rann–Thanagar War was a direct sequel to Planet Heist.
It was one of the stories DC released as part of the hype to build up yet another event called Infinite Crisis (alongside Villains United, OMAC Project and Day of Vengeance).
I usually tend to avoid big epic crossovers and mega-events (if they're not Green Lantern related or assigned to way too many authors to be properly coordinated)...but being the first, and only Adam Strange centric one, this was a must read for scifi comics fans.
At least..that's what I thought.
Surely a mini-event following a mini-series, both leading into another bigger event cannot be that bad...can it?

Here's a very strange ad for cigarettes by Lynch.
I dunno if you know this, but David Lynch directed a lot ads during his career.

AwesomeScenes from Mad about you - Seinfeld crossover
Here's a very random yet funny moment from Paul Reiser's show Mad about you.
It involves a cameo by Seinfeld's Kramer.
And it's hilarious!
I've never been much of a fan of Mad about you... I dunno...
The semi-romantic/comedy feel was too much for a teen-myself. I just couldn't bare it...
Though I'm pretty sure I watched a lot of episodes back then, anyways. (hey! I just used to watch hours of non-sense stuff on TV back then!)
But Kramer's appearance here sure leveled-up the show's quality :P

RR Twin Peaks
It's time for yet another "Random Review", 'haven't done one of these in a while.
This time, featuring a cult classic from the early 90s.
Twin Peaks!
A show like no other else.
Part-drama, part-science fiction, part mystery, part-fantasy...
It only lasted for 2 seasons, but it marked an entire generation of directors and writers.
And without it, I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten any of our current recent productions, these serials storyarcs-driven shows like LOST nowadays (or any of those other Bad Robot productions as well).

Ad - Mass Effect 3 : "Take Earth Back"
Here's a brand new Mass Effect 3 trailer.
For some random reason, it starts like this...
Surely, since this was a TV ad for the upcoming game, they thought adding a bit of human (a child? really) interaction could help sell this big scifi epic game. (it aired in the middle of AMC's The Walking Dead)
But the message is sort of lost in translation. People will only think "what is this random Star Wars-imitation?" "yet another random violent shooter for teens!"...
Not "hey, look! the conclusion of an epic deep interesting action-RPG for a mature audience".
I surely do not think so after this random mixed bag of a trailer :/

BestOf Batman & Robin - Mr. Freeze Puns
Here's the best of Joel Schumacher's Bat-nipples fiesta...that is Batman & Robin (the film).
That awful acid trip contains waaaay too much silliness, neons, odd camera angles, wacky plotthreads and random scenes to be enjoyable...that is, besides all of Mr. Freeze's random puns:
As the dude who uploaded it on youtube said it:

BestScenes from Seinfeld - George's Answering Machine
There's lots of awesome and memorable scenes in Seinfeld.
People tend to mention the earlier seasons generally.
Here's a pretty epic clip from Season 8, in which we get to see George's awesome answering machine's message:

AwesomeScenes from The Critic - Seinfeld
Here's another Seinfeld parody!
This one's from the awesome cult underrated The Critic cartoon.
A meta-parody cartoon series (for "grown-ups") about a movie critic. Sort of like "What if Jon Lovitz had Roger Ebert's job".
(and yep, Jon voices this critic)
Anyways, enjoy this super random segment:
Not the best Jerry Seinfeld-soundalike voice acting I've ever seen, but the rest is perfect!

BestScenes from every movie ever - "I'll Call You Right Back"
Here's an awesome compilations of...
Awesome idea for a video, best random thing I've seen all week XD
A real cliché from movies, talking to an unseen character which we won't even get to see most of the times, since movies aren't serials and we will simply use this excuse to break and launch a scene/dialogue around the phone call :P
How many are actually called back anyways?!

FanMusic - Monkey Island 2's Jojo The Monkey on the accordion
Since I recently posted this song from Monkey Island 2 a day or two ago, here's what is without a doubt my all-time favorite fan-cover of a game music. Ever.
It's been a favorite of mine since I first saw it a couple years ago!
I even made a shortcut on my keyboard just to launch it whenever, shortcut I've been keeping and carrying over when I changed computer and all.
Cover by Schadstoffmobil who sadly only uploaded a video on youtube since 2008.

Ad - Acura NSX 2012's "Transactions" Commercial
Here's something very random!
Yet another ad from this year's Superbowl.
This one's featuring Jerry Seinfeld who's very excited about the new NSX that he will stop at nothing to get the first car.
Well, not as epic as Matthew Broderick's fantastic Honda ad.
But fun nonetheless :P

Gamin' NEWS! some Walking Dead screenshots
Telltale Games released some info and new screens of their upcoming new adventure game based on (yet another) franchise, Walking Dead!
Unlike the live TV show, it won't be another adaptation of the comics but rather some original story taking place in the same fictional universe.
With ex-LucasArt Dave Grossman out of Telltale now, it's Jake Rodkin and Sean Vanaman that will produce this new upcoming series.
Here's some pics:
The game is already looking like it will sport the best graphics of all Telltale productions so far. (though I still have a soft spot for Tales of Monkey Island mix of well done design and cartoon aesthetics)
Though I'm already fearing Telltale's typical sloppy animations from that first pic above. (where their problems really are, and not the graphics/visual)
It will be out on almost all systems in mid-2012.
(PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Max and Wii)

“Collaborating with Telltale on The Walking Dead continues to be a fantastic process. They understand the world and the characters that I created and what it takes to make a game out of them. What’s really exciting is that they’re telling a new story with new characters, so you’ll get to see the same world Rick Grimes did, but now from a different point of view,” said Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead. “Playing Dead is going to be an awesome way for fans to learn about the game and how it was made. It makes sense that Telltale are talking to people in this unique way because The Walking Dead is going to be a unique zombie game.”

And one more about the weapons:
This title developed by Yakuza and Monkey Ball creator at the Sega Ryû Ga Gotoku Studiois sheduled for a February 24 release date.
Exploring and fighting in Toyko, 2080, looks like a fun job.
I can't wait to try this over-the-top game, looks fun so far!

AwesomeScenes from Freakazoid! - Watching Seinfeld
Here's some random funny scene from an episode of the 90s classic cartoon Freakazoid!
One of Freakazoid's villains take over a TV station to watch his favorite show...
It is so random, but I love it even more so~
Haaa, when cartoons were good and had lots of pop culture references around :P

Here's a very memorable musical piece from Monkey Island 2.
Some people dare say that in the old "retro" age, video games didn't have good music. But I dare to ask those same people this below isn't a fantastic composition!
RIP Jojo, the monkey.

BestScenes from the SNL - "Livin' In A Van Down By The River"
Here's a little segment from the Saturday Night Live.
Featuring none other than Chris Farley.
One of my all-time favorite comedians, the king of funny expressions and modern slapstick. (yeah, Farley, not Jim Carrey, imo!)
Chris Farley died too soon... RIP Chris! :(
Anyways,
his Matt Foley segments were amongst the funniest material SNL ever produced.

Drawing - Rick Grimes "daily sketch challenge"
Walking Dead/Zombie-themed sketch for today!
Since I already did various "Walking Dead" or zombie-inspired drawings in the past, I decided to stick with actual WD characters this time around.
So I took this occasion to remake this old drawing from 2 years ago:

Only this time, I went for Rick's TV version instead
Here's some preliminary lines if ya wanna check 'em out:

Hopefully, Andrew Lincoln!Rick's recognizable enough here above :/

MR Super (2010 film)
If there were superheroes in real life, and I mean actual "realistic" vigilantes not comic book-ysh-super powered flying people, how far would such individuals go?
Could they make a difference? Wouldn't they be considered just nutjobs, "psychopaths" by our society standards?
How detached from reality would one go to be able to live such a fantasy?
That's the kinda question director James Gunn tried to ask, amongst many others in his superhero/comedy/drama Super.
Be warned, this is a film strictly for a mature audience only!

Is Nicolas Cage an Highlander? - answers on the 'Late Show with David Letterman'
So what does Nic Cage thinks about the whole "Nic Cage is an immortal vampire" rumor?
Nicky finally talked about it on a recent show of David Letterman...
There you have it!
"Not a vampire".
Case closed, I guess.
...
though I guess an actual immortal vampire would actually say that exact same answer..?
Mmmh.. I guess we'll still have our doubts concerning this whole affair...
