#SDCC News! TV series, webseries, movies and games!

With the San Diego Comic-Con fast in track, there's been a lot of fun news and great announcements to come out so far.

Upcoming new shows and a few surprises, let's begin!
First let's open this subject with this awesome Mad Max-style opener to the Con, featuring Conan O'Brien!

Haha! Epic recreation! This was so metal!!

Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk’s Con Man - Alan Tudyk just can't get first billing even when he's the one creating a series!

The Indiegogo-funded webseries received a new trailer along its very own panel at the Comic Con:

This looks great! When you think the TV people weren't interested and rejected this project before he got the fans to help him out fund the series... (His agent even "fired" him for skipping pilot season to make Con Man instead!!) Here's the official pitch:
The series is a lighthearted take on the personalities, luminaries, comic book stores, and characters they have run into during their years in the sci-fi community and convention circuit, while telling the story of a guy learning to love and embrace his fans. CON MAN centers around the post-show life of Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk), the pilot and co-star of SPECTRUM, a sci-fi series which was cancelled before it’s time and eventually became a cult classic beloved by fans. Wray’s good friend, Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) starred in the series and has gone on to become a major celebrity, while Wray continued to struggle to find his big break. While Jack enjoys the life of an A-lister, Wray tours the sci-fi circuit as a guest of conventions, comic book stores, and lots of pop culture events. The show will explore all the weird and crazy things that happen to Wray along the way, while telling the story of a guy learning to love and embrace his fans.
Alright, count me in!

The Twelfth Doctor is back! Here's a trailer for the Season Nine (already!) of the rebooted/modern Doctor Who series:

Things are looking great!

Here's two teasers for the upcoming Walking Dead spinoff - Fear The Walking Dead (Yes, I still think the name's pretty stupid..):

Finally a new Fantastic Four poster that actually looks somewhat more Fantastic Four-ysh:

So Fox had to ruin it and follow it with a more cliché tilted sideways generic one for international markets:

Ugh....

Also, did you notice the never show Reed Richard's powers in these?

Meanwhile Capcom revealed a new character trailer for the new Street Fighter game exclusively on PS4.

Ken will be back for Street Fighter V... with some noticeable changes:

What the....?? No more a mere "American" palette-swap of Ryu, they finally gave him a new look! A new hairstyle! A new costume! And it looks...

I guess the idea was decent. Take the top part of his kimono off and try to make him slightly more different and unique from Ryu after all those years. The idea is sound. But the execution..

He just looks like Rugal from the King of Fighter series! There! I said it! I miss his duality with Ryu, aesthetically-speaking...

I do wonder who was that character at the end (my guess? E. Honda with another awful redesign...)

Here's a fantastic new trailer for Platinum’s upcoming Transformers: Devastation game:

I can't wait!!! The game will be basically out on every platform, for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Oh. No Nintendo consoles, really??

Finally there's one last thing I wanted to cover, but I'll be giving it a proper standalone post - stay tuned!
