Batman Inc drawings

Here's some of my own drawings for a change~

Blackbat
First off, Cassandra Cain is back to kickin' asses! I wanted to have a try at her new look already :P

I like new costumes usually, and this new one's pretty simple and cool :P
Love the nod in her new codename at Black Bat, an obscure golden age character which debuted around the same time as Batman/Detective Comics #1.

Nightrunner
Since I was in the middle of drawing modern Bat-related costumes, I had to take a kick with Nightrunner - The French Batman!

I love this guy! Nice Nightwing-inspired design.
(and Dick's the one who's training him, so...)

A parkour guy, right? How could a modern French character not be a parkour guy, am I right? XD
(they're everywhere! in videogames, movies,..)

And that is all~
Hope you like 'em!

I already posted a pic of "that" amazing Donna Troy cosplay a while ago.

ComicPanelsOfTheWeek: Ambush Bug in 52

You know why they don't put Ambush Bug too much into regular comics or offer him appearances in events?
Because it always end up kinda like this:

Gamin' NEWS! Crush 3D!

Sega just revealed some details about the upcoming Crush 3D, a sequel to a 2007 platformer that was released on the PSP.

I like pink very much, Lois

Aw man, I couldn't find a video of this scene anywhere online..

"Do you like pink?"

"I like pink very much, Lois."

Cooking with Scorpion

Finally...blogspot works again? They sure took their time...

One of the reason why I always liked Mortal Kombat.
As gore or violent as they were....they were fun(ny) too!

Here's an awesome blast from the past:

Gamin' NEWS! New Soul Calibur announced

And that is all I had to say:

...
Oh, and apparently it will take place 17 years after the last one!
Some major changes to be expected in the character roster then. (and that is good, stuff like that made awesome games such as Street Fighter 3 or Mark of the Wolves in the past)

Gamin' NEWS! New Hitman game announced!

New Hitman game announced finally!
And it's about damn' time :P

The last one was in 2006.
IO Interactive just announced their return to this series with the upcoming Hitman: Absolution

CBR Aquaman: Year One

Reading JLA: Year One and more recently Brightest Day made me want to check out more about Aquaman, a character until now I wasn't really interested in nor could I take him seriously. (hey! the guy used to talk to dolphins!)

That's when I came across this book.
Which seemed like a good enough starting point for everything Aquaman and his related mythos.

Blog - That time I crafted Sonic's shoes

Quite some time ago, while I was still in that art school I was before becoming a graphic designer, I had various "artistic" classes where often we had to build up stuff and get our hands dirty (with super glue).

For whatever reason I can't quite remember exactly, at some point I ended up having to make a shoe.

So naturally, I wanted to make a popular one, from possibly a character I like.
But only one choice came up to mind, Sonic's shoes!

So here is, a little comic-presentation of this lil' art project:

Tu-duuuh~

Looks nice?

I dunno..I sort of think it could have been better.
And now here it is in all its (common) glory!

Better luck next time?

CBR Ambush Bug (1986)

Revealed at last... This is it... They've done it again...
Something that is more than a comics... Something more than just a story.. Something undefinable... Yes, it's more Ambush Bug comics!

Nobody dreamed of it...in fact, nobody was asking for it...didn't stop Keith Giffen from unleashing the Bug one more time across the DC universe, from hell and back!

8 Bits music & drawing - the Blues Brothers

People who know me, usually know that I'm a huuuuuge Blues Brothers fans.
Now, you do too.

And here's my "little" collection of BB CDs I bought over the years when I was younger, back when people used to actually buy CDs.

So here's the obligatory Blues Brothers related post I was due to post at some point on my blog.

VGR PoP: Warrior Within

Finally!
I decided to continue my on-going reviews of the PoP series.

In the past, the second episode of the classic trilogy wasn't near as good as the original. How did this second episode of the second trilogy far off?

AtoZ - D is for... Doomsday

Eyz' ComicBook Alphabet Challenge!
Today, D is for... Doomsday!!

You thought it was going to be Deadpool, right?

Well, nope sorry!
Doomsday is an important character from me. He was the reason that made me start reading Superman comics and finally give Kal-El a chance. And now? I have read tons more of Supes thanks to this ugly mug! (even if I didn't jump in during the 90s but much later thanks to the couple of collected Doomsday-arc comics)
Today's character is © by DC comics

From Zero To Hero

I was listening to Disney's Hercules soundtrack, and gosh, I love it! :D

It was such a ingenious idea to combine gospel with Greek mythology!

AwesomeCosplay Pic of the day: The Shadowpact

Such an obscure team of (awesome) characters!
1 in a million chances to come across a Shadowpact group of cosplayers :D

Quote of the day - "Back then"

""Back then", really?

Well, FUCK you TOO!

When you say "Things were better....Back then." You're basically saying "things were better...as long as you weren't black, or a woman, or a child, or old, or jew, or muslim, or Irish, or from Wisconsin, or..." Well basically said, as long as you were a White mid-20s/40s working class american dude living in New York, part of a nucleur family and having been in the war."
I've been trying to find back where I found this one but with no success...

CBR Ambush Bug (1985)

Today, I present you the first series that was given to one of my all-time favortie DC comics characters. (incidentally, the same year I was born - Eyz trivia)

In the form of...
