Here's something that will either make you cringe or please you.
Sega's just released a brand new trailer for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed!
We get to see some more tracks and whatnot.
...
And also get the first look at the "bonus character" Danica Patrick in-game!
They got her lovely likeness pretty well but her model does look a bit lifeless.. I dunno.
Yes, it feels a bit weird to have a more realistic "human" character along the likes of BD Joe & company.
But, hey! Marketing!
Her toy car comes along the partnership Sega got with Mattel and Hot Wheels. (and in return some Sega and Sonic stickers on Danica's Nascar vehicle for a while~)
Ma-rket-ing!
On another hand I probably will end up barely playing with Wreck-it-Ralph and her. I mean, give me more Sega-nostalgia! Not random guests, thank you!

Been a long time since I last heard about another new homebrew title for the Dreamcast.
Well, not that long actually.
And here's another one!
GunLord was just released a little ago, but the German developers at NG:DEV.TEAM already have another title coming up.
NEO XYX is yet another "sh'mup" for the classic Sega system.
You can already order a Limited Edition (with the OST) or the rare Collector Edition (available for only 300 copies) that will contain both the normal and limited edition alongside a T-Shirt!
I'm glad that those guys are still making Dreamcast titles for fans, retrogamers and collectors alike^^

CBR Spider-man 2099
Time for another comic book review, and a Marvel one for a change.
For someone who grew up with Spider-man, I've actually never been much of a fan of his more recent on-going series.
Running out of ideas or trying to spin the book on new "more interesting" directions (note the "quotes") , whenever they resort to symbiotes, clones, satanic deals or vampires is usually when they lose my interest.
I always found the earlier classic stories or the origin story more appealing to a broader audience.
That is why I usually like What if...? stories or tales from alternate Marvel Universe that go back to basics with a different interpretation of the myth behind The Amazing Spider-man.
Today's comic is easily one of my all-time favorite (as DC Comics would have named it) Elseworld-take, the futuristic dystopiaof 2099!!

#BestOf Beetlejuice - the Wedding Scene
Here's another super memorable scene from Beetlejuice, a favorite of mine.
The wedding scene!
I just love the way that creepy house came to life with all the puppets and stop motion in this scene.
A modern day sequel (as in "Beetlejuice goes Hawaiian", that long rumored sequel that never got made..) would never capture the grittiness/gothic/dark humor of the original.
Specially not with crappy "in your face!" CGi...
Dayum... Winona Ryder was such a cutie back then^__^

The Ricky Gervais Show - A Pointless Conversation
By now you probably already know that, I'm a huge fan of The Ricky Gervais Show and specially Karl Pilkington!
Here's something, a live recorded little bit amongst Ricky, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington.
It was done to promote the then-new HBO animated version of the show.
It's fun to finally see them do the show in person (if you're either a regular fan of either the podcast or the animated version).
