Adventure Time: Distant Lands - Obsidian Official Trailer | HBO Max

The next Adventure Time: Distant Lands "HBO Special" will be titled Obsidian.

Taking place sometime after the finale of the show, and starring this time Marceline and PB. Check out the first official trailer:

Looking neat! More Marceline! More post-finale PB with her new powers. And a brand new kingdom. And a stand-in for Finn, it seems, in that Glassboy character.

Obisidan hits HBO Max this November 19.

#GamingNEWS Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion

I'm kinda hyped for a new Adventure Time game again!

Adventure Time have a pretty odd reputation with gamers. They've been hit or miss, sure. But they also managed to stay close to the cartoon's tone and riff off classic adventure-style video games.

My personal opinion, as both a fan of classic adventure games and Adventure Time?

Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!! was a really funny and enjoyable Zelda 2/Tombi!/Tomba! sidescroller platformer/action RPG. Explore the Dungeon Because I Don't Know! was a really, really, really bad repetitive dungeon crawler. The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom was a great throwback to the original Zelda 1, a bit on the easy side, though. And Finn & Jake Investigations is a really good classic adventure game in the style of classic PC graphic adventure games.

Anyways!

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion is the new installment coming to Xbox 1, PS4, Switch and PC. And it aims to be no different. It's developed by the crew at Climax (good track record). This time is a 3D action-RPG, kinda reminiscent of Zelda: Wind Waker! Nice.

No trailer yet, but check out these lovely screenshots of the game:

#BlogReview Adventure Time cookbook

Today I just received the best random book ever - The Official Adventure Time Cookbook!

Yes, it’s a real thing!

Pen Ward’s cult cartoon series has featured a ton of fun food throughout its 9 season run, so far. So as silly as it sounds, a cookbook based on the show is actually a great fun idea.
And all these - well, most of them anyways - are super easy too!
Jake’s meals are, of course, the best. But there’s a lot of fun meals and desserts in there!

Check it out!

#CartoonNEWS Adventure Time | Elements Arc Theme Song

After a lil' break, Adventure Time is finally coming back.. with a brand new miniseries!

I've been really enjoying this miniseries format Cartoon Network's been exploring lately. I'm not sure this one will be as big as Islands (which even received a graphic novel prologue tying it to Stakes).

Adventure Time: Elements will air from April 21st to April 27th. And from the looks of the opening intro they just released, it seems it will further expand and even resolve some current storylines, check it out...

Intriguing! I love it!

I'm kinda sad just thinking the show will end next year...

#CartoonNEWS ADVENTURE TIME - ISLANDS

Did you know Adventure Time is slowly coming to its end?

But not before an epic 8th and 9th season! And season 8 will kick off with Adventure Time: Island, another new miniseries right off the fantastic season 7 season finale.

Finn, Jake, Susan Strong and BMO will embark on an all-new adventure to look for the remaining humans!

Check out the great alternate opening credits:

And in anticipation for the miniseries, BOOM Studios will make a new graphic novel, a sort of prequel to the miniseries (and the show since it appears to revolve around some new human character):

#Gaming NEWS! New Adventure Time game

There's a new Adventure Time game coming! And this time it's going to be a full 3D "next gen" AT. And the first one not developed by WayForward.

The game's titled Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations. It's the first non-smartphone 3D AT game. It's developed by Vicious Cycle Software. And apparently it will be a throwback to ol' adventure games with some investigating, puzzle-solving and interaction with the different characters through this huge open world where you will be able to visit all kinds of locations from the show.

And also, it seems to take place during the show’s sixth season. Here's some beta footage:

Here's the official pitch:
Jake’s mother and father, who also raised Finn – were seasoned detectives back in the days before becoming parents. They received their assignments from a machine called the “tickertype,” which printed out information on various cases. Now, Finn and Jake have unearthed the tickertype and decide to go into the investigation business themselves.

And a few screenshots to go along:

The game's expected to be released later this year for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, 3DS and Wii U!
