So there's gonna be another TCM film. And yes, it is yet another reboot.. I dunno how to take this in. I loved the two first films, for different reasons, but I'm kind of tired of this series. Is this what's awaiting to happen to all other long-running film franchises??

#RIP Tobe Hooper

Another Master of Horror passed away...

Tobe Hooper, the director of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist, died this past Saturday.

Oh, man.. We're losing so many of my favorite directors lately...

While he's mostly known for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and its sequel, let's not forget all the other great films he did over the decades. Including Eaten Alive, Poltergeist, the cult classic Lifeforce and one of my rare favorite remakes, Invaders from Mars (1986). But also Night Terrors, Body Bags and a couple of fantastic Masters of Horror TV movies, Dance of the Dead and The Damned Thing.

Tobe Hooper died at 74.

Apparently a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie is coming up, and it will be titled...

Texas Chainsaw 3D!
The 3D 2nd sequel, obviously (since the reboot), horror movies do love their third 3D entry, don't they? XD

Oh, and I see what they're doing with the above creepy poster.
They're trying to showcase the various faces of Leatherface in the franchise!
