New gameplay trailer for the shaping up-nicely reboot of Alone in the Dark! And I can't wait for it!!
It looks super good!!!
Following the recent modern trilogy of Mortal Kombat games which introduced a lot of time travel shenanigans and retconning stuff, we ended the last game with SPOILER ALERT Liu Kang resurrected as a Fire & Ice God and Raiden stripped of his immortality.
Now we're going back in time for an alternate Mortal Kombat 1 (again..). At least it does look really good.
Check it out!
I actually really wanna check out the plot goes on.. but I feel like we're stuck in MK 1-3 era forever these last few games.. I kinda want to see the villains and characters of the 3D era of MK games at some point return as well..
The rather... "unique" Scooby-Doo spinoff Velma is almost here. Here's a first proper official trailer to showcase the concept:
Aside from whatever you might think, I kinda like Velma's (and only Velma's) design. Bring in the fanart, peeps!
Honestly the actual only complaint I have about all this is... there's no Scooby-Doo! Why make a Scooby-Doo show without Scooby-Doo? This could have been easily tweaked into any other vintage teen team mystery solvers, like for example "The Archies"!
The second Evil Dead reboot (or spinoff? side-quel?) is here. Here's the Red Band Trailer to check out all the gore and horror coming our way:
They say it's a new installement in the Evil Dead universe, but from the visuals, the tone and the design of the book this actually looks more like a second entry in the Evil Dead remake series.
Just let the Kandarian demons be Kandarian demons and not just mindless Hollywood monsters...
Can't wait!
The Hellraiser "soft reboot" is actually looking pretty great. Faithful to the original 4 films and Clive Barker's work. And I dunno, maybe I'm easily sold on that following the last few awful Hellraiser cheap sequels...
The puzzle box looks fantastic and expanded upon. The classic theme is back.
I really dig this, plus I like to see return some classic and obscure Cenobites mythos. Wait and see..
So there's gonna be another TCM film. And yes, it is yet another reboot.. I dunno how to take this in. I loved the two first films, for different reasons, but I'm kind of tired of this series. Is this what's awaiting to happen to all other long-running film franchises??
Anyways, here's the trailer:
Coming directly to streaming, made by a no-name director and random film studio.. Release Date: February 18, 2022
The upcoming Resident Evil film reboot is looking pretty nice, so far. It actually seems to stick closer to the games this time (a mashup of the storylines of RE1 and RE2 it seems). But, I dunno, it's coming from the exact same production studios as the previous Paul Anderson films, so... wait and see!
The movie's coming on November 24.
And to end on a completely different note,
Now that Disney acquired the Home Alone franchise (with the 20th Century Fox bid), they quickly rushed a new sixth (6th???) film to cash in Xmas time:
I still wish they'd gone with the rumored Macaulay Culkin-return sequel.. Sigh..
Wow! I wasn't expecting this today!
Looking actually pretty dope!
Add this one to the pile of canceled Crash Bandicoot sequels. There's a few scrapped Activision Crash games. A sequel/reboot by Traveller's Tales after Twinsanity. Another reboot by Radical. And now we got this proof of concept by Sonic Boom-developpers Big Red Button.
In fact a lot of elements here, including the scenery, reminds me of the final product that was Sonic Boom. Did they roll out some elements from one pitch to a publisher into another pitch for another publisher? Who knows.
Check out "Crash-N-Burn":
And after the little preview clip/teaser, here's the first proper official trailer for the new Animaniacs 2020 cartoon series coming to Hulu soon...
It's starting to look a bit better. I can get used to that.
Can 2020 be saved??? Wait and see...
