Yesterday I went to see the new chapter in the Alien franchise,
Alien: Covenant.
And
to be honest, I still have no idea how I feel about it. Was it good?
Was it bad? I can’t really say, I think I need to let this one aside
from my mind for a little while... Let’s discuss some details[As usual,
WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD!]
The first trailer for the Alien prequel/Prometheus sequel-in-disguise is here! And all I can say it's... pretty underwhelming. Like in an Alien 1-remake kind of way...

Hmmh... maybe this will be the exact opposite of Prometheus. Prometheus' first trailer gave me so much hope and promises. It looked like a brilliant Alien spiritual follow-up.. but turned out an uninspired bland generic mess (with pretty graphics). Maybe Alien: Covenant looks like a really standard copy-pasted Alien 1 but will have a lot more surprises and much more original ideas...? Maybe?...

I love the atmosphere already! We didn't get to see much here, but I certainly loved the tone. I fear the visuals and the look won't exactly look Blade Runner-ysh enough, but so far so good...
Time to dig into another couple of survival films!

Sure, the scientists were kinda dumb in this prequel to Alien, Prometheus. Though I liked it enough.

Sure they behaved like idiots, unlike the selected geniuses for a billions miles away-space travel they were supposed to be.
