#ad DeLorean - Time Capsule (2024) Christopher Lloyd

I started watching this random ad..........and....it worked on me. Got somehow emotional, imagined what an actual good Back to the Future sequel could be like... man I was so into this stupid video...which turned out to be a teaser...for a commercial.

Anyway, watch this with a lot of sound, full screen and no light around you:

Great. Scott.

#Randomz How to Build The DeLorean Time Machine (Feat. Christopher Lloyd) | Expedition Back To The Future

This is the best  video I've seen this entire summer, so far. And I'm not even joking or hyperboling. I even had a few tears - honest - at the end segment.

Enjoy this journey:

#FanMade - Back to the Future 2015 version

Someone decided to edit Back to the Future's 2015 to actually reflect more of our own real 2015.

Check it out:

It's super short, but it's fun!

Haha! Although I would probably have used some of the other old 80s franchises still running with a lot more entries than Jurassic Park's 4 films. Why not even Star Wars Episode 7??

#GREATSCOTT Marty!!!

Michael J. Fox tried some actual 2015 self-lacing Nike shoes for his Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson’s Research:

The future is truly here!

Fox and Christopher Lloyd certainly believe so!

And here they are with the always lovely Lea Thompson on the Today Show for an interview:

I see Lea Thompson's still gorgeous as ever.

Still, no hoverboards and flying cars... dammit! We truly live in the darkest timeline!!

#Sketch - Back To The Future In ACTUAL 2015

Here's a funny random little animated sketch parodying Back to the Future's 2015 with our own, from the crew at CollegeHumor:

Sigh. Our 2015's turning out to be so disappointing to the fusion-powered hoverboards-filled flying cars-driven 2015 from BTTF...

On a related note, here's the real Doc and Marty selling out for Toyota:

#BTTF - The Back to the Future Trilogy in 90 Seconds

You know what day it is? It's October 21, 2015!

And that means you can take the occasion to revisit my Back to the Future reviews:

In the meantime here's a fun video summary by the crew at io9:

Enjoy!

#Gaming NEWS! Back to the Future: The Game remaster

YES!! This is the Back to the Future: The Game I wanted to play the first time around.

If you read my review, you will know that the only thing I actually really didn't like about the game was the fact they didn't bother getting Tom Wilson back for Biff.

Well, Telltale Games is re-releasing the game of the 30th Anniversary of the franchise. AND they finally got Tim Wilson back to voice the Tannens in the game! Yes, new audio! Plus new higher-resolution, new added content here and there and a whole behind the scenes look at the game and film trilogy along some interviews.

I'm honestly not a big fan of these type of remasters, but for once I'm kinda seriously thinking about it. Might be because I'm a huge BTTF nerd :P

This will be released both digitally and in retail on Oct. 16.

"There's never going to be a Back to the Future Part IV," says Bob Gale. "We're not doing that. But, Telltale's Back to the Future game is pretty close to what a Part IV could be."

#BackToTheFuture - Doc Brown Saves The World Anniversary teaser trailer

GREAT SCOTT!!! Back to the Future is already 30 years old?

It seems Universal has a little surprise up their sleeves for the series' anniversary. They made a brand new BTTF short starring a returning Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown! It will be included in the brand new Bluray box-set on Oct. 21. Check out a little teaser:

It's always great to see Lloyd back having fun as Doc! I loved him back in the game, and it's great to see him once again play this zany scientist for the fans!

VGR Back to the Future: The Game

Back to the Future is already 30 years old. Can you believe it?

BTTF's future did predict a lot of wild stuff. If there's one thing the series foretold is how much 2015 would rely on 80s nostalgia, use the 3D gimmick and produce countless sequels. (Seriously though, this year did saw the release of a new Jurassic Park, the return of Mad Max and soon more Star Wars!!)

Great Scott!! It's 2015! Let's party like it's 1985, with a 2015-special review of a game based on a 1985 movie! Are you still following me here? This is about to get heavy...

Gotta get back in time? Check these previous reviews below!

#BackToTheFuture - Lexus has created a real, rideable hoverboard

Back to the Future is now 30. Which means I'm getting old.

More seriously (?), we're now the futuristic year of 2015. Where's my hoverboard?

Well, apparently Lexus International is honestly working on real-life hoverboards!

They're looking at really developing the technology by finding a way to make boards "slide" over the ground, instead of whatever idea people have been trying to make these things float these last few years. Which means we might actually be getting real hoverboards one day!

For now it's all prototypes, nothing concrete. But they've certainly stumbled upon a much more realistic and possible way to get there. Let's hope!

I'll keep on dreaming for now. (By the time we get the real thing, I'll probably be as old as old Biff in 2015...)

#AprilsFool - New Back to the Future movie

No, I didn't mess up this post's schedule.

We might not be April no more, but I really wanted to upload this here just for fun.

Robert Zemeckis might not allow another Back to the Future film to be ever made, but this looked fun enough. Check it out:

Haha! Excellent! I wouldn't want/watch it, but as a short parody this was fun!

#SDCC News! A Back to the Future comics!!

San Diego Comic Con 2015 just started. I'm sure a few interesting news will come out of this. Apparently Marvel stepped out of SDCC this year. No panel on upcoming Marvel films, comics, etc. Nada!

I can already safely say what my favorite news out of this year's Comic Con is.

IDW's Ghostbusters series might be over, but they just announced a Back to the Future comic book series!!!

It will be written by John Barber (Transformers) and Erik Burnham (Ghostbusters) with a rotating team of artists beginning with Brent Schoonover and Dan Schoening. Here's a big splash-covers/teaser:

And instead of a traditional series it will rather be an anthology format instead (that's actually how the GB comic at IDW started, with a set of miniseries and specials long before we got the proper ongoing).
Back To The Future #1 will be out in October.

#LEGO News! LEGO Dimensions "Great Scott" Back to the Future Trailer

Here's a pretty random funny ad for the upcoming "LEGO Crossover" game LEGO Dimensions!

Featuring none other than a Hawaiian shirt-wearing Christopher Lloyd reprising his role as Doc Brown from Back to the Future!

Great Scott!!!
