More Walking Dead if coming. Which sounds pretty strange to me, I sort of made peace with this universe once the comic ended. And I ditched the live action series so many seasons ago...
But here we are. A new Walking Dead spinoff, brilliantly titled The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Here's the trailer:
They're introducting a whole new cast. Same world, same story. I'm not sure I'll check this one. Maybe just the pilot episode.
I remember the announcement for this. I didn't expect much from this new Amazon series. But it does actually look great with some visually stunning world-building:
While the Flash and Cyborg seem genuinely super happy to have action figures of their own, BatAffleck looks so miserable and forced to be there.. Enjoy the cringefest!
The new Tick series did great on Amazon Prime... despite it only being for a short 5-episode run (hey, Amazon's still learning how to do digital streaming!)
You either get one episode a week, or binge-watch on the Netflix model. 5 episodes in a batch, then 5 months later 5 more, etc. might kill the show in the long run. But, hey, that's just me!

Amazon has kinda revamped some details since the pretty darn' good pilot. Including a much better suit that feels in-between this reboot's the older 90s series. I dig it!

You know! That great obscure parody comic book series, turned into a great obscure meta cartoon, turned into a great cult classic TV series.
We now have Peter Serafinowicz, who is clearly no Patrick Warburton, but my problem personally might be with the new suit:
It just looks weird! I can actually see what they were doing, trying to distance it from the previous show, but it just looks bad. Why had all the weird texture?? They should have just gone with the comic book look and give him two big white eyes, Deadpool-style, maybe that would have worked better.
This new show will premiere on Amazon Video in August 19th.
In case you missed it or don't simply know it, there was a new 3rd series of Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington's An Idiot Abroad this Christmas!
It was only about 3 "TV Specials" long, but well worth the wait!
This time Karl had a "little company" during his trip, in the person of the awesome actor Warwick Davis! (who's the main star of Gervais' Life's Too Short)
