The guys at Revolution Software have finally announced a new Broken Sword game! Finally! Yay!
Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse for PC, Apple and Linux only!
Look at this pic! It looks gorgeous!
It will be a return to 2D like the first two episodes. (I guessed they scrapped the 2D remakes of the later games then...?)
With all the old crew back behind the production and all.
But they need your help...

#Screenshot: Broken Sword
Here's a classic quote from the original Broken Sword - Broken Sword - The Shadow of the Templars!
Just to be a more obscure, I decided to take it on the (not very well known) GBA port of this classic adventure game:
Being both an English and French speaker - bilingual - I always found this scene quite hilarious.
Basically, the beginning takes place in Paris, France.
People in the street use little bits of French in their dialogue. And this guy above says something that sounds so silly and stupid in French, yet perfectly correct grammatical. (it is an UK based game studio, Revolution Software, and they usually don't butcher non-English language unlike their American counterparts)
"Quelle bitte!"

Gamin' NEWS! Broken Sword 2 Remake!
This just got in!
A remake to an ol' 1997 classic 2D point and click adventure was just announced!
Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror - Remastered by Revolution Software, will be out soon on iPad / iPhone / iPod touch before Christmas and on PC & Mac "very early next year" in 2011 (probably on Wii too, and maybe DS as well, though not announced yet, or with the new DS coming out..they probably dropped it?).

Dave Gibbons - Digital Drawing
At the wacomeurope's youtube channel there's some very neat videos of artist Dave Gibbons drawing methods.
I really like the guy, one of my favorite artists and a very good writer too!
He's the other half behind the Watchmen, wrote my favorite issues of the Green Lantern Corps current run and worked on the artwork and graphics of the adventure game Beneath a Steel Sky for example.
If you want to check out his instructive videos, are interested in this artist's techniques or are just curious about drawing, hit the players below~
The man himself with a fantastic funny sculpt of Rorschach from monkeywiz's blog.
