 Now this seems timely appropriate:

#GamingNEWS Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet | Announcement Trailer

It seems like nothing will stop The Pokémon Company. With Nintendo, they've been slowly but steadily releasing new Pokémon games for a while now. I even bought into Pokkén and New Pokémon Snap. In fact after decades not playing any of it, I finally started playing through Pokémon Sword recently.. and Legend Arceus was released since then.. and now another mainline Pokémon title announced:

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet! Which looks like a mix of the traditional structure of Sword/Shield mixed with the open world of Arceus. And it actually looks a bit better, visually.

They sure keep pumping these last few titles one after another!

The new starters look.. nice. And the game's even already coming late 2022.

#NintendoNEWS Return to the Sinnoh region + A familiar region. A new story.

So after a disappointing Nintendo Direct and a disappointing Playstation State of Play, GameFreaks and The Pokémon Company came with banger announcements. And I might not even be into Pokémon personally, only having played Red back in the old GB days, I gotta admit this is how you show new stuff and launch kickass announcement trailers.

Get the latest from the Lental region! #NewPokemonSnap

First up, is some more news/look into the New Pokemon Snap. I gotta say, I like the look of this smaller-scale simple non-violent take on a rail shooter game. The original N64 was pretty good, for a more chill experience.

Then the announcement of the usual remake/update games, this time it's the turn of Diamond and Pearl to get the "Link's Awakening" treatment.

Return to the Sinnoh region in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl!:

And finally a brand new game - already! Not that long after Sword and Shield, and in fact it will be coming along right after the Pearl and Diamond remakes.

Pokémon Legends Arceus: A familiar region. A new story.

Wow! It's sort of an actual improvement/reimagining of the formula, like fans had been asking for ages! It seems to take some cues from Zelda Breath of the Wild (and Bowser's Fury), with a proper sandbox world to explore and a more free system to roam around the world. So more emphasis on capturing wild Pokémon rather than cups and championships and facing enemies with Pokémons.

It actually does look... interesting. I like how this one seems to take after classic Japan imagery, after the American/French/Britain-inspired games.

#GamingNEWS New Pokemon Snap - Official Reveal Trailer

Real talk, I'm not really into Pokemon RPG games. At least, not anymore. I didn't feel like trying the Switch ones, and only really played the original Red and Blue back then. But I like the design of Pokemon and the concept behind them. So as a huge fighting games fan, I did love Namco's Pokken.

But you know which Pokemon game I really enjoyed? The chill nature of Pokemon Snap. And what surprise, Nintendo announce a new one, like the recent Marios Bros entries, simply titled New Pokémon Snap! Check it out:

Looking lovely so far! A nice mix of old school creatures and the new ones. I can dig this. A sort of chill take on rail shooters.

#Randomz Get Ready with Me (Pika Edition)

Ryan Reynolds is back at it with his genial marketing skills:

And I can't wait for this Detective Pikachu movie....!!!!

#MovieNEWS DETECTIVE PIKACHU "Earth Day" Trailer NEW (2019) Ryan Reynolds Pokemon

This film is gonna make us cry, isn't it?

#AnimeNEWS Pokémon Evolution trailer #2

There's a new trailer for the upcoming CGi Pokémon animated film, which, sure, is way below the upcoming Detective Pikachu in terms of quality but I like some little details.

Check out the trailer:

It's basically a CGi remake of the very first Pokémon animated film. Here's some comparisons made by fans:

While the animation's a bit too simplistic (aimed at kids..) and Ash's face terryfying, I like the rest. The Team Rocket for example looks fantastic!

#PokemonNEWS Casting Detective Pikachu

The best Detective Pikachu teases come straight from Ryan Reynolds's youtube channel:

#GamingNEWS Forge a Path to Greatness in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield

With hype for the upcoming live action Detective Pikachu game, Nintendo finally announced the brand new Pokémon game, coming for the Switch and therefore the first proper major Pokémon installement for a Nintendo home console not a portable (kinda).

This looks exactly like what the fans had been asking for ages.

#MovieNEWS POKÉMON Detective Pikachu - Official Trailer 2

Here's an awesome fantastic new Detective Pikachu containing the original anime theme song as well some epic 90s music.

Wow! The film is looking even more awesome each new trailer. I can't believe I can't actually for this. And I only ever played the original Blue/red games back on the original Game Boy.

Sign me up for this! I love the craziness of seeing real people interact with Pokémons.

Also, the best thing Warner Bros./Nintendo was hiring Ryan Reynolds for their Pikachu voice. I mean the man's literal gold, as far as online marketing goes. Case in point, CHECK THIS VIDEO from Ryan's own youtube channel:

His wife's calling some truths there, that's right he doesn't even change his voice for Pikachu! Brilliant!

#MovieNEWS POKÉMON Detective Pikachu - Official Trailer

Goddammit, they actually made this film?!?! Who actually wants to see creepy "pseudo-realistic" CGi Pokémons next to hunan actors for a whole film!!! All this weird uncanny valley unfunny humor, etc. What a waste of Ryan Reynolds' voice too!!

...Alright, , I now have to see this movie.

#Ad - Pokémon Super Bowl Commercial

This is only a preview for the actual Super Bowl commercial, but it's a pretty fun look at the 20th year celebration for Pokémon.

Check this out:

#Sketch - Pokemon Electric

Here's a pretty fun Pokemon parody by the guys at rizenvisual:

#As - Super Smash Bros the 3DS commercials

Alright.

Most of that looked awkward, and almost cringe-worthy...

Still, check it out for yourself:

These don't have a thing on the old 64 commercial:

#Gaming NEWS! POKKÉN TOURNAMENT Trailer

So the long rumored Pokémon fighting game is actually a thing - heh?

It's actually called POKKÉN TOURNAMENT and the project is being developed at Namco, with both Tekken creator Katsuhiro Harada & Soul Calibur lead programmer Masaaki Hoshino overseeing the project no less!

I have to admit, I was surprised, like probably everybody was by this announcement...

Woah!

Color me intrigued! The game's slated for an arcade release in 2015. But a Wii U would naturally be expected at some point as well.

This looks actually pretty good, unexpected and fun! Probably the first Pokémon game in over a decade I might have to buy at some point. I guess they will have to put a loaaaaad of playable Pokémons in this, though? Can they feature at least 150 characters?!?

#MusicBOX - The Video Game Rock Medley (FreddeGredde)

#MusicBOX - POKéMON Rap

I was just looking for this...

But instead found this...

Pokémon Rap just got REAL, DAWG!!!
