This is actually looking pretty dope, if I may say so.

I actually like having proper teenagers cast as the turtles, really makes 'em stand out! The mutants like Bebop and Rock' look awesome too.

I honestly just found out Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was a separate game from MultiVersus. And Nickelodeon Brawl was already out for a few months.

I mean, both games kinda looked the same to me. Big cartoony random crossover, lots of random ips that don't look good next to each other.. I didn't notice the Nickelodeon or Warner Bros-part of their titles...

Anyways, who thinks this looks just as random and bad as Warner's MultiVersus?

Suddenly.. Dotemu (Streets of Rage 4) announces a really old school-looking classic-style TMNT 2D beat 'em up, with the ok from Nickelodeon/Viacom!! 

It's called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and looks very reminiscent of the MD and SNES titles, check it out:

 

Wow! Sign me up for the eventual limited physical release!!

Oh, man! How silly is that this news made me so happy/hyped for this?

Sophie Campbell's been killin' it on the art and writing side.

Also, read the IDW TMNT comics! They're available in several languages worldwide and they've been constantly pretty good. (For example the French translations are constantly among the best selling comics every month, alongside the likes of Asterix and Lucky Luke..!)

#Ad DirectLineTV making some random epic pop culture ads for their services...!?

So there's this UK-based direct line TV company called, well DirectLineTV.

And they've been making some pretty interesting commercials lately. Using classic pop culture icons.

The latest of those which has been going all over social media. It features a CGi animated Ninja Turtle, Donnie to be precise. And he looks like a nice balance of modern CGi and his vintage comic/cartoon self. I feel like with some tuning this could be the perfect way to recreate the TMNT in a modern blokbuster, far from Anchor Bay/Michael Bay's reboot. Just some fine-tuning the nose and eyes to make him less cartoony.

The original BATMAN VS TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES comic book miniseries were surprisingly awesome. So of course Warner Bros animation is turning it into a direct-to-video movie. Check it out:



I'm not entirely sold on the artstyle, but looks fun!

After so much hype and teases, here's the first proper trailer for the upcoming new Ninja Turtles cartoon series, Rise of The TMNT. Which despite some weird movie-inspired designs, simple art style and modern animation does actually look pretty fun and dynamic in motion:



Not sure I will actually follow it myself, but maybe check a couple of episodes at the very least.

The different proportions is odd, but COWABUNGA! is properly back!

#FightingNEWS Injustice 2 – Fighter Pack 3 Revealed!

What did I miss?

Wow! That's the most unexpected and random new announcement I've seen so far for Injustice 2! Hellboy was already a pleasant surprise. Suddenly in this latest trailer for the upcoming new Fighter Pack DLC which adds a very CW-esque Atom and a very DCEU-esque Enchantress... a new guest-fighter, the Teenage Mutant Ninja friggin' Turtles!!!!



I LOVE IT!! Looks like I do need to finally get this game!! And the Turtles seem to act as a single unity. Original idea, I love it! Better than splitting them up or omitting some of the guys.

And it's based on my current favorite iteration of the Ninja Turtles, no Nickledeon's nor Michael Bay's but the current comics?! Sign me in!

Woah! I'm sold! This looks like a fun modern brawler, Platinum-style. And the art style and tone is perfect. I love these unstoppable versions of Beebop and Rocksteady!

Man, I just wish they had recasted April and slightly redesign the turtles. (Why not even make it a soft-reboot after the last one?) The rest looks fine though.

#Movie NEWS! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows

You know, the TMNT reboot is a pretty bad film, but this sequel can only go up if you think about it.

They just retitled the sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Yes, like that awful game that came out not long ago (which I still think was based on the original earlier draft of the Michael Bay reboot, both character design-wise and plot-wise). The sequel will be directed by a newcomer this time, Dave Green.

And they have recast most of the secondary characters, sadly Megan Fox's still in it ruining everything with her bland face and awfully robotic acting once more. But they also got Arrow star Stephen Amell as Casey Jones (!!) and the debut of Bebop and Rocksteady played by Gary Anthony Williams and Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly respectiviely!

Woah! What? YESSSS!!

I also love how they appear to be based on their recent IDW comics interpretation:

With a new Karai cast as well, does that mean they'll have the same role as in the current comics??

My only problem is still the same - way to busy photography, awful CGi character design and shaky filmography. Sigh...
