#GamingNEWS! The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Trailer

Alright, I admit, this looks pretty nice. I'm finally starting to think I should get back to Zelda after so many years since I last played one...

#GamingNEWS Shantae returns

We need a little break from those giant explosive big budget 3D modern games. Let's look at an upcoming 2D title!

Following the success of Wayforward Technologies’ kickstarter recently, a new Shantae game is coming up soon!

Here's a little E3 trailer for the new game:

It looks gorgeous! Look at the art style and that animation! I love Wayforward's 2D games!

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is due out for September 27 on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U and PC!

#E3News The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Nintendo basically spent 2 entire hours on only 2 games. But at least one of those two games was the highly awaited new Zelda (the other one was Pokemon Sun/Moon)!

Here are some proper footage of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild:

I like the title. I really enjoy these charming colorful graphics (and so bored of hyper-realistic visuals of most games these days...). And gameplay looks like some actual improvement over the past Zelda formula, I like seeing lots of new ideas here.

Looks like I might finally have to try a modern Zelda! (I haven't played any since Ocarina of Time & Wind Waker...)

This game is expected next year for Wii U and the long-rumored new system "NX".

#E3News Day One

Another year, another E3!

Personally I'm not expecting a lot to come off this year's E3. In fact a lot of great titles showed last year haven't exactly come out just yet (looking at The Last Guardian and Mass Effect Andromeda for example). Anyways, let's see what has come out of the show so far...

#Nintendo NEWS! Hyrule Warriors new addition - Female Link, Linkle REVEALED!

Nintendo just announced a new addition to the already huge roster of Hyrule Warriors - Linkle, a female incarnation of Link!

Apparently she will be added to the roster of the 3DS re-release of the game and a DLC for the Wii U version.

Awesome! People have been wanting for a different incarnation of Link for ages. Me? Personally I was tired of the generic Ocarina of Time-ysh Link we've been getting every new game for so long. (Hey! I miss brown/pink-haired Link from the older games.. even the animated series Link would be a much better pick).

And to the haters out there - You know we get a new different Link each game? So Cartoon Link wasn't a problem for you, but female Link is? How hypocrite of you guys...

Anyways, crybabies aside, here's the trailer:

Awesome! Looks like she kicks ass with her crossbows!

#BehindTheScenes - A Visit To Jim Henson Studios with Mr. Miyamoto

If like me, you're one of those who actually liked Nintendo's E3 presentation - and by that I specifically mean Starfox's "Muppets" style introduction, here's a fun look at behind the scenes:

"Mr. Miyamoto, Mr. Tezuka and crew take a trip to Jim Henson Studios to see where the Nintendo puppets were created".

#E3 NEWS! Day 3 - Eidos, Nintendo, PC and stuff

And here is our last E3-related posted, probably. I don't expect to see any more surprises since now the conferences are all over and it's mostly gameplay from the showfloor coming up.

Nintendo conference was quite crazy, but the rest of the reveals was kinda lackluster if you ask me. There's also some stuff coming from a PC conference, which was really bad. But, hey, new Deus Ex footage!

#E3 NEWS! Bethesda + Nintendo stuff

Time for a little first E3-recap!

In case you've been living under a rock or were just born yesterday (and in that case - what are you already doing on the Internet and reading English? Go back to bed, baby!), the E3 is the biggest gaming convention of the year... a few years ago. Seriously, the best stuff are always kept for the Tokyo Game Show, or the GDC, or Gamescom, or, heck, even Penny Arcade Expo!

ANYWAYS! E3 has still a lot to offer. From all these early announcement or reveal trailers to new tidbits. (Usually a lot of pre-rendered cutscenes that end up looking nothing alike the actual later games *cough*Watch_dog*cough*)

This year Bethesda opened up the floor with some kickass long-awaited surprises and Nintendo's already showing some fun new stuff.

#E3 NEWS! Ryu joins SMASH

Of course I've seen the news, Ryu from Street Fighter will be added to Super Smash Bros. for Wi U! After rumors since as early as April, it has finally been officially confirmed by Nintendo.

Enjoy the reveal trailer:

They're also adding a few others odd paid DLC characters, new stages (including Ryu's classic SF2 stage), new music, etc.

While this is pretty neat, I still have yet to play/buy this game. Heck, I also wanted to try Splatoon and I haven't so far. I mean, I was super hyped for Hyrule Warriors, and I don't even have that one either. I'm not one for "Day 1" releases... Oh, well.

Anyways - it's a nice addition, he looks nice. Like Nintendo actually has some respect for the character unlike Capcom, 'really liked the little nods to the original game. Enjoy his remixed theme song for Smash:

#Gaming NEWS! You thought Splatoon was too kiddy for you? Here's THIS!

Speaking of long-awaited games from fan-favorite creators, remember this?

Really, no? Because I certainly didn't...

Devil's Third was a long in development hell action game from Ninja Gaiden/Dead or Alive creator Itagaki. He's been pretty silent since he left Tecmo, so there's been no words on this game. It was once expected for Xbox 360, then Xbox One/PS4, and finally it found a new home on the Wii U - of all consoles!

We now have a date AND a video to go along:

This first game from Valhalla Game Studios (mostly composed of the original Tecmo's Team Ninja) is expected for August 4 in Japan, as a digital title! Yeah, you read that right. But a physical edition will only be available on Amazon. That's.... pretty random? Do they fear to let kids get their hands on a mature title if it was available in stores!?

In the US... the game hasn't been picked by a distributor yet. And Nintendo of America seems to be having trouble with it (or marketing it at the very least).

Meanwhile in Europe this Wii U-exclusive has just had a date confirmed officially by Nintendo:

August 28 for Europe! Nice!

#Gaming NEWS! Armikrog release date

Remember Armikrog?

A Kickstarter-crowdfunded point-and-click adventure game from Doug TenNapel, basically a spiritual successor to the cult classic The Neverhood.

The game has now a date! The game will debut on August 18.

Here's a new video:

Looking great!

The game will feature voice actor Rob Paulsen as Beak-Beak, the sidekick of the main character Tommynaut (Mike Nelson).

It's expected to be released for PC, Mac and Linux (with a later release on PS4 and Wii U as well).

#Ad - Wii U - Splatoon "Squid Kid" TV Commercial

Man.. that's the official ad for Splatoon in America?

It's... really bad. Like annoying-bad. Good thing the game's great!

#LEGO News! LEGO Dimensions "Great Scott" Back to the Future Trailer

Here's a pretty random funny ad for the upcoming "LEGO Crossover" game LEGO Dimensions!

Featuring none other than a Hawaiian shirt-wearing Christopher Lloyd reprising his role as Doc Brown from Back to the Future!

Great Scott!!!

#StarWars News! Disney Infinity 3.0 - Will feature STAR WARS!

Disney just announced via Sony that Disney Infinity 3.0 will revolve around Stars Wars! You know what that means? A ton of new Star Wars figures, nerds!

Here's the trailer:

Awesome!

I love how cartoony everyone looks, kind of reminds me of some SW figurines from around the time of the first Clone Wars animated series.

There's also several more Disney-owned characters, from both movies, cartoons and Marvel coming with this new batch. Including my favorite - TRON figurines! Finally!

Quorra!

With all the neat stuff around this games, looks like I might need to pick a character or two finally (Guardians of the Galaxy, brah!!). My interest in the actual game is still pretty low though.

#Gaming NEWS! New Adventure Time game

There's a new Adventure Time game coming! And this time it's going to be a full 3D "next gen" AT. And the first one not developed by WayForward.

The game's titled Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations. It's the first non-smartphone 3D AT game. It's developed by Vicious Cycle Software. And apparently it will be a throwback to ol' adventure games with some investigating, puzzle-solving and interaction with the different characters through this huge open world where you will be able to visit all kinds of locations from the show.

And also, it seems to take place during the show’s sixth season. Here's some beta footage:

Here's the official pitch:
Jake’s mother and father, who also raised Finn – were seasoned detectives back in the days before becoming parents. They received their assignments from a machine called the “tickertype,” which printed out information on various cases. Now, Finn and Jake have unearthed the tickertype and decide to go into the investigation business themselves.

And a few screenshots to go along:

The game's expected to be released later this year for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, 3DS and Wii U!

#Gaming NEWS! New Splatoon gameplay trailer

Remember the upcoming Wii U game Splatoon? A brand new IP from Nintendo - that doesn't happen often these days!

Since the game's finally coming up soon, there's been a bit more information and trailers recently.

Here's a fun look at how fun painting-stuff-the-videogame seems to be:

#YujiNaka NEWS! Rodea the Sky Soldier lives!

Rodea the Sky Soldier lives!

That's right!

Wait, you don't know what it is? It was supposed to be Sonic's creator/founder of Prope studio Yuji Naka's new game for the Wii.. which got delayed... forgotten... lost its distributor, etc.. Then the Wii made the way for the Wii U... and it seems to be finally back on track! With a new distributor, etc. Not release outside Japan planned, but...

Anyways, here's the new trailer:

It's looking pretty nice! In a NiGHTS meet Kid Icarus/Panzer Dragoon-sort of way. Very arcade-ysh.
