#NerdTalk - Tank controls - do we need them back?
I already wrote a similar blog post about survival horror games once. So let's call this a companion-post.

#DeletedScenes - Alan Wake 2
Since Remedy's too busy with Quantum Break these days, they've released a lot of information from the scrapped Alan Wake 2 project through polygon.
The following prototype trailer doesn't spoil much beside the engine and gameplay, since apparently creator Sam Lake still hopes they're able to make the game at one point or another, possibly episodically:

Alan Wake opening - Twin Peaks style
Haha :P
This is pretty fun!
Someone made a Twin Peaks-styled opening credits for Remedy's videogame Alan Wake!
Itself a pretty good Stephen King/Twin Peaks tribute. (well, more King than Twin Peaks, it's not Deadly Premonitions!)
It's pretty good!
Check it out.
(the music is, of course, Angelo Badalamenti's original "Twin Peaks Theme")

Gamin' NEWS! VGA Awards - various new trailers
So, once more Spike TV hosted their famous VGA Awards.
The Spike Video Game Awards 2011 to be precise. (but people tend to repeat Awards after VGA for some reason...)
Besides the random events due to their annoucements, silly announcers, star power hosting the show and whatnot, they also had a bunch of new trailers for many of the upcoming games.
(I mean...That's why I only check the latest game trailers instead of the whole event-thingie.)
Amongst those of interest to me, there was some news regarding my most expected titles of 2012. Like Mass Effect, Bioshock and many others!
Let's check 'em out, okay? :)
