#MusicBOX Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove - Live Action Music Video

I can't wait to receive my physical copy of the Switch version of Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove....

In the meantime enjoy the awesome "Live Action Music Video" which I probably already posted a couple of times here on my blog:

#MusicBOX ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove

While we wait for the long awaited new ToeJam and Earl game (remake? reimagining? remaster? sequel? all of the above!), here's a fantastic bonus from the kickstarter campaign, a music video of the new theme song, featuring the new voice actors! And they're perfect for their characters, completely in-character!

Enjoy this funky tune!

And for good measure, here's the animated opening version:

#SEGANews ToeJam and Earl new trailer!

Yes, I'm still calling this a "Sega News".

It's about to get funky in here! There's a brand new trailer for the kickstarter-funded ToeJam and Earl sequel! And it's apparently going to be published by Adult Swim (!?!). Check it out:

This new ToeJam and Earl (ToeJam and Earl 4?) looks amazing! I love the art style! This is how you modernize a classic game! I'm loving what I'm seeing so far!

#Kickstarter News! Toejam and Earl are Back in the Groove!

This recent new kickstarter is funky enough to have my attention!

The creators behind the original Toejam and Earl were apparently able to get the rights behind their ip from Sega! And they quickly launched what they've been trying to do for ages - Make a new Toejam and Earl!

Only since this won't get much attention from most of the mainstream audience, they're going through Kickstarter to make it a reality!

Check out their other videos over there!

It's a return to form after a platformer sequel they never wanted to do much, and a decent if underrated 3D episode on the Dreamcast that went back to the original formula.

This new episode is going full on retro and 2-D animated. I'm also loving the fantastic 90s vibe this is already giving.

Can't wait to see how things turn out!

ToeJam & Earl 3: Character Select

Why am I posting this?
Well, one, because I've always been a SEGA fan at heart, and two, because I dig ToeJam & Earl - as underrated or obscure those guys are nowadays.

Here's the character selection screen from the 3rd episode, which came out on the original Xbox around it's launch day:

(and if it looks like it was blocked from youtube, go watch it there!)

Funky!

The original on the Megadrive was pretty "Hip Hop"! And it had this look, like a sort of parody/homage to early rap from the 90s.
Well, the third one in 3D, using the same idea, turn Earl and ToeJam into parodies of rappers from the 2000s. But funnier :P

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing ART JAM retrospective

That's right, this is a little post about the Art Jam I've been running on deviantArt!

In case you would have a look at the original deviantArt Journal where all the fun was at, click this link!

So, I would like to have a little retrospective of the Jam on my blog.
A small recap, if you please.

But first of all, I'd like to thank everybody who participated in the Jam!
This ought to show Sega and Sumo Digital how much we love our Sega franchises and characters,
and that a wider range of characters from all Sega periods should have been representated in game!

A quick look at a compilation of all our different and various entries! Click it to see it in bigger and better format!
