One of my most awaited new games for this second half of 2010 is the new Splatterhouse game.
Now, I'm a huuuuuuuge fan of the original games and am hoping for something great in this semi-remake/sequel.
In fact, I'll have some reviews up of the old ones before this new one comes out later this year.
Anyway, here's a pretty kickass preview/trailer for this legendary gory arcade beat'em all's return:
There's also a trailer for the new Force Unleashed II around.
Here it is:
I love the curscenes/CGi scenes done by ILM, loved it since Star Wars Jedi Outcast!
But since the prequels and the Clone Wars CGi series, it seems like ILM is doing an even more impressive work nowadays! Look at that!
It's really as beautiful as a real modern Star Wars movie would look like, all the details, the shiny Darth Vader helmet... just WOOW!!
And finally, here's the first annoucement trailer to Tomonobu Itagaki & Valhalla Game Studios' very first game since leaving the DOA series and TECMO.
Devil's Third looks like a brand new kickass action game from the crazy rockstar that is Itagaki. Yeah, I said rockstar, that is the kind of character that is this living legend.
Thumbs up!!
Seriously though, Itagaki, YOU ROCK!
Anyway, here's the trailer:
It looks like this game will feature 3 different playable characters. (a dude, a gal and some ninja/military other guy)
The game seems to be played like a regular action game not unlike the modern Ninja Gaidens, but will also use a 3rd person shooter aspect...
Can't deny I'm intrigued by this one!
Love the grindhouse aspect too!
That's all for now folks~
If you're talking about JewWario's recent video, that was SD Splatterhouse, not the original game but a parody of it.
ReplyDeleteI'll have something up about the 4 Splatterhouse games on this blog anyway ;)
(since the originals will be unlockable, yes old school-style, in the new game as bonuses!)
Oh, and yep. Force Unleashed told the story of the "secret apprentice" Darth Vader and Palpatine rise in the shadows, how they teached him to use the dark side of the force and he's attempt to defeat them alongside the creation of the rebel alliance.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the first game (...)
*SPPPOOOOOOILLLLLLEEEERS*
(...) his "dead" body was saved by those Sith. So the sequel will mostly deal with how they saved him and what they're going to do with him now OR the "apprentice" will be a clone (like the trailers and official website seem to indicate)
