If you read my Rocket Knight Adventure review, you've already heard about the "animated" concepts that never got made in my conclusion.
Well, it's not really the truth.
In japan they got the canche to have a look at what Sparkster animated would have been.
Here's a fun looking advertisment they had back in the day (recycling animation tests?) which gives us a glimpse at the cartoon/anime that never was:
