Gamin' NEWS! X-Men: Destiny first pics

Finally some pics of the upcoming X-men original videogame X-Men: Destiny!

Shiny logo is shiny

We don't know much about this one apart that it will be published by Activision and is being made by Silicon Knights, makers of such titles as Blood Omen, Eternal Darkness and Too Human.

It is supposed to come out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and DS, at the end of the year..but not much is known of its plot, gameplay or anything really...

The all-new original video game casts players as new mutant recruits in a rich, branching storyline that features a deep element of choice and gives players ultimate control of their destiny.

They released a teaser a while ago, and now we also have some pics of one of its "original" character.
The first "original" mutant is Aimi Yoshida. And I say "original", because the Yoshida name actually appeared in some Marvel comics, so she might be related to the actual character Sunfire.
"She was smuggled out of Japan by her mutant parents before the entire family could be rounded up and incarcerated in the new mutant camps. Not a good sign for the future if there are mutant concentration camps. Anyway, Aimi arrives in San Francisco hidden on a tanker ship. She is too young and frightened to appreciate her parents’ motivations for sending her away, and instead feels only the bitterness and anger of abandonment."

And here's some pics, also showing regular X-men Gambit and Colossus:

From what I gather, this might just be an actual new X-men Legends in disguise. With more RPG elements and more options to customize the game (play an story).
The X-men already had plenty good games, unlike other comic book franchises.
Wait and see~
