Did a new breed of superhero movies start with the adaptation of Kickass?
Most of the movie's details have been kept secret until now. Anyway, some new updates appeared recently on the official website, so here's two pics first to have a good look at our heroes:
Rainn Wilson (The Office) and Ellen Page (X-Men 3) rockin' the Crimson Bolt and Bolty costume respectively.
This indie movie was started long before Kickass, but due to its indie nature, was sort of short on budget and went on hiatus for a while. Guess the success of Kickass was able to drag in producers on this project.
The movie is aiming a more realistic and violent tone than Kickass (but probably a completely different approach and tone).
