Gamin' NEWS! Green Lantern's light, in pixels

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters!
That's not the name of a sequel of the upcoming movie already.
That's the name of the game they're improvising making to coincide with the movie's release.
It will feature Ryan Reynolds as Hal, will be released at least on Xbox 360 and PS3. And it will feature an original storyline showcasing the movie versions of the Manhunters.

"Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters allows players to assume the role of Hal Jordan to battle the Manhunters—a once noble android police force who are now bent on destroying the Green Lantern Corps.Players take control of the most powerful weapon in the universe – the Green Lantern Power Ring – and conjure a spectacular range of “hard-light” constructs including a gatling gun, giant fists, and much more as they take flight to outer space in an effort to restore Intergalactic order. Oh-ho...

"GIANT FISTS".

'Guess that's mostly what this game (and probably movie too) will have the ring wielders do, those very same rings that are supposed to be able to will anything based on the GL's imagination.
'Guess the programmers working on this game aren't the kind of people who'd receive Power Rings.

Anyway, trailer time!

Alright, so it's a CGi trailer, it doesn't really show much how the actual gameplay will be.
But from what we can guess from the first pics, it will simply be a generic beat 'em all with HD graphics *yaaaawn*
