Anime NEWS! Arrietty trailer
Here's some anime-related news for a change.
Building up for future Studio Ghibli reviews on the blog?
Maybe.
Anyway, here's a trailer for the latest movie from the Studio Ghibli.
Kari-gurashi no Arietti/Arrietty the Borrower.
It was already in Japan for over a year, and was already shown in lots of countries in Europe.
The movie will finally hit theater in the US on Feb. 17, 2012.
And for us Europeans, it will be made available on DVD/Bluray on September 28 this year.
It wasn't directed by Miyazaki but by Hiromasa Yonebayashi (Tales from Earthsea/Mei and the Kittenbus).
The art, though digital nowadays, does have a little Miyazaki-esque look to it.

Dude! You HAVE to check out the album "Princess Ghibli" by the band Imaginary Flying Machines. Melodic death metal versions of songs from the Ghibli movies. Here's one of their videos..
