DC News! Justice League: Doom - Official Trailer
Straight from the NYCC (that's the "New York Comic-Con for ya!) here's the first trailer for the latest animated movie from DC Comics!
Justice League: Doom was written by Dwayne McDuffie right before his death in February 2011, based around the comic book story JLA: Tower of Babel in which Bat-villain Ra's al Ghul got the way to defeat the whole JL gang thanks to some plans of contingency stolen off Batman.
The movie will be directed by Lauren Montgomery.
Some noticeable change to the story and characters will be done.
Like having The Flash!Barry Allen instead of Wally West (minor change as both are quite interchangeable in a story where their alter-ego won't play a part), but also replace Green Lantern!Kyle Rayner by Hal Jordan which kinda annoys me since Kyle still exists in comics and does have quite an important part in the current DCU and his own book.
It will also throw out Aquaman (weird?) and add Cyborg instead, current JLAer in the "New 52" universe in the comics.
And Ra's al Ghul seems to have been replaced by the Legion of Doom.
On the better announcements, besides some returning voice actors and new ones, Nathan Fillion will once again voice Hal Jordan!
And it's awesome!
Looks all fine and dandy!
But is it me or is the quality of the art and animation kinda, errr, decreasing? That's what you get for rushing all these movies so soon, so many one after the other...
It looks like the studio in charge of Young Justice is doing this one, don't you think?
