I absolutely LOVE the new Thundercats cartoon. Growing up I liked the original as well, but the new series by far surpasses it. I love the stories and the animation is great. One of the few things to be "rebooted" lately that was actually done well.

ReplyDeleteMy only problem with the original was how cheap and simplistic it looked compared to some much better 70s cartoon. Like many other 80s cartoon (GI Joe, Transformers,..) the animation was pretty poor and it looked like its sole prupose was selling toys! (that's why I preferred the much better shows of the early 90s instead, like Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Batman, Tiny Toons..)
