#Marvel NEWS! D-D-Deaaaadpoooool's in da House!!!

The news' have broken off, chances are you probably already heard that elsewhere, but...

Deadpool's getting his own game!

See, DC? You can make characters become iconic by simply using them around! Stephanie Brown (ex-Spoiler, ex-Robin, ex-Batgirl) could still be around and appear in videogames if you made her appear more often. She's as old as Deadpool as a character (more or less~)

And they seem to have captured Wade's spirit pretty well. He is voiced once more by Nolan North - as in previous games/cartoons.

It seems Hit Monkey will appear in it (...and hitman monkey, duh!)
People originally thought an Hit Monkey game was coming up due to the rumors and leaked website info from Marvel.
It's going to be a 3rd Person Shooter from High Moon Studios, who made the recent pretty good Transformers game (with a sequel coming up already).

Deadpool-tastic!

...but I already have 2-3 lil' problems with it.
The double narration? STILL AROUND!!
I understand why Daniel Way invented it in the comics. It was a lazy gimmick because his book had no character development, no background characters for Deadpool to interract with and it helps build "something" to pass for a plot for his crossover tie-ins/joke series that his DP was.

But it's so distracting!
I wish they could take cues from various past incarnations of Deadpool instead of just Way's current series. A bit of Fabian Nicieza's classic pool, some of his Cable & Deadpool Deadpool, a bit from Joe Kelly, etc..

Also, could someone try like Duane Swierczynski did in the past to use his double narration boxes like Wade's own inner monologue + the writer's voice? Not just two random voices in his head?...sigh...

Gameplay-wise, I'm sure it's gonna be good enough. Hopefully pretty fun and action-packed.

And a good NEWS is never that far from one another!

Marvel also announced at the comic con that...
Deadpool #63 will be Daniel Way's last issue on Deadpool.

Deadpool's in no way his character, it was about time they shuffle some new "voice" on this title!
It was getting stall.

Now hopefully something will "happen" on this book. Some times it was really feeling like mindless tie-ins to crossovers with lots of Family Guy-type of jokes around..
Deadpool should be allowed to grow, have actual stories and more pop culture references than toilet humor...
