[concept art for the, apparently, live Guardians movies!]
So without further ado, here's all the new movies announced so far. (though I'm expecting a 2nd Avengers too down the line...)
Here's all the new official logos of these upcoming flicks alongside my opinion on those~
If you follow my blog and/or news around you probably know about this one already.
Iron Man 3 is being filmed for a May 3, 2013 release date.
It is directed by Shane Black this time around though, not Jon Favreau.
I'm expecting another "Iron Man 2". Meaning, it might be fun and all, but not as good or original as the first one...
The plot and villains will make this one really, and since both don't sound that compelling for now...
Thor: The Dark World will bring most of the cast and crew back for this sequel on November 8, 2013.
At this point, this is a wait-and-see really... But if it's mostly the same, and then some it might actually surpass the original which got a bit dull on some parts. (or the uneventful conclusion)
Okay I admit, this was my most anticipated one...and the one I'm the most fearing/disliking so far.
How did Marvel manage to lose such a renowned and veteran respected director such as Joe Johnston?!
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is expected for an April 4, 2014 release and will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
I'm glad they're still doing the Winter Soldier storyline as Johnston wanted in the first place. Which made him leave the project initially, but since it's still on I'm confused...?!?
Please be fun and entertaining and spectacular as the first one!!!!
Surprise of the bunch?
A Guardians of the Galaxy movie for a August 1, 2014 release date.
Yeah, no one is onboard or signed on this so far, but that is the "Marvel way", isn't it?
The above artwork was a concept art for this one. How is this going to be made? Like mostly CGi, like Green Lantern at Warner? Probably so..
I can already hear the septics (read already a couple of those actually).
"A movie with a talking raccoon? If I wanted to see that I'd watch a Disney movie instead!" Well, Marvels owned by Disney!
Deal with it! -__-
And finally my most anticipated movie personally.
Ant-Man!
Already rumored and hinted by its director Edgar Wright a bunch of times in the past.
No date so far, which is a good thing if you ask me.
It has the potential to be the funniest one and most entertaining one. At least, less grim than the aboves.
~
And finally, an eventual The Avengers 2 down the line no doubt to conclude all this 2nd wave in a spectacular confrontation against Thanos.....hopefully.
*crossing fingers for a good Rocket Racoon* so much chance for greatness, so much equal chance they'll badly represent him/drop the ball on this one...
