This one will be directed by Isao Takahata this time, his first new film in 14
years! (last one being the Yamadas!)
And it looks absolutely gorgeous so far!
Based on the classic Japanese tale The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, it follows the Princess Kaguya, found as a baby in a glowing bamboo stalk.
And here's another preview which shows that either the film changed art style in production or that the look will depend on the tone of the various scenes:
