And Paramount/Sony somehow did the impossible. We might actually have an enjoyable family-friendly on our hands!

It still feels and sounds like a "Sony movie". (Sony as in Smurf movies.) But this new Sonic movie model is miles better!! We went from creepy realistic Sonic to cartoonier cute Sonic!!
Also lot of scenes reshots while they were reworking the CGi. The whole car exchange is different (different clothing for the human dude). Better jokes, less cringe hyper Sonic, more AoSth smartass Sonic attitude.
And I gotta say I loved that Green Hill bit at the beginning!! Wasn't Sonic an alien that crashed on Earth in an earlier leaked draft?? Sounds like a Bay-TMNT level of reworking a doomed reboot.

You know, some of those almost makes me think this was "all part of the plan", no matter what PR said to the press. Like some of those were clearly badly rendered. Just look at Sonic sitting in the car, it was so static, so bad...
Was this all a public stunt? The delays were always planned to release it in a Deadpool february-kind of way... How did that early Sonic 3D model pass public showcase??
I mean look at this, it's night and day, I can't believe the whole "making VFx artists work over time, delay the film, fix Sonic"-thing.
