A place to discuss about stuff!

Hello dear readers, guys and gals! (well...the 2 or 3 of you reading this very line anyway!)

Just some quick post to chat a bit~

I want this blog to be a place to discuss stuff, to talk about gaming/movies/comics/etc..
That's what the comments section is all about! (also you may know this already or not, but you don't have to be logged in/nor have a google account to comment)

If you want a spot on a future post for something special, let me know ; )

A first comic book review is coming here this week, and I'll try finishing posting the old deviantArt review before moving on to next stuff (obscure SEGA games, 2D classics, fighting game series, Star Wars stuff, etc..)

Anyway, that's all I had for now!
See ya around!

  1. Discuss stuff? Okay. Hmmm...

How about... your thoughts on... He-Man and the Masters of the Universe? (M'I dunno why I asked) I still loved watching that stuff long ago, even now for the goofy stuff. Of course, the writers couldn't be given the full scope of what they could write for a kid's show, but they tried their best. And besides, Paul Dini and Tom Reugger were among the writers, as well as that guy who wrote for Babylon 5 and the recent Thor comics.

Also, the 2002 He-Man series was a real good show, which was only cancelled due to nobody watching it. Just avoid the live action movie and New Adventures. They aren't that great, and I never liked them compared to the original show, either.

  2. ...
    I actually never watched any He-man :/
I really couldn't find the appeal in it while I was younger with stuff like Animaniacs, Batman, Tiny Toons, etc.. airing around the same time as those kind of animated shows!

  3. Understandable. Then again, did watch it before those other shows (except Batman), and just watched whatever I could at the time, too. Wouldn't watch Animaniacs till sometime 1996, I think.

  4. I think there were some older shows from the 80s (such as GIJoe, transformers) running around the same time as the newer ones from the 90s (Animaniacs, Freakazoid..) one two different channels around here, if my memories are still correct :P

Since I never really dig the older ones for their simpler animation (and all they talked about was war and stuff) I prefered the funnier more recent ones back then! Batman ran with the other WBanimation shows.

Then on late nights the older classic stuff, like Looney Tunes, Felix,etc.. aired on another channel that I watched until really late on the evenings just before the movies...

    Ahh... Good times^^
Nowadays I kinda watch a lot more stuff, thanks to the "magic" of downloads, dvds and youtube XD
