Marvel finally released the trailer for the movie Avengers!!!

Huh..
It's more like a teaser trailer than anything else... And kinda cheap too... Where's the goshdarn Thor or Captain America trailer instead of this kind of filler?!?
This... doesn't...tell us...anything about the movie!?!
Real cheap, tasteless and doesn't get me excited for the movie at all, infact if you weren't a Marvel fan you wouldn't know what to expect from this : /
ReplyDeleteAnd since all the previous Avengers Marvel related stuff haven't been that great in my eyes recently... (Dark Avengers, Siege, Secret Invasion.. so many horrible storylines recently... at least the current Shadowland series is looking great!)

But hey, look at the bright size! They will be able to quite surprise us..maybe..I hope so... *remembers the Thor trailer...* Uh oh...
The recent Avengers comics have been subject to one big problem... Being turned into big movie promotions!
ReplyDeleteIronman's cool thanks to the movies while he was a douchebag in the comics (see Civil Wars)? He was promoted head of the shield in the comics!
Steve Rogers was dead with a replacement taking his mantle but a movie coming soon? Resurrected (and became Super Soldier to let some time to bucky since the movie's miles away) AND he will become Captain America again next year!!
Thor movie soon? Turned into a badass again, SIEGE-related event, etc..
And in-between, events turning everything darker, edgier, cooler for kids who will probably not end up buying the books... (Dark Avengers, Norman Osborn head of the shi..HAMMER I mean, etc...)
Though Shadowland, currently is great!
(but it isn't really an Avengers storyline, more a NYC-centered plot with DD, Spidey, and others)
