Star Wars NEWS! Clone Wars Season 3

So, you probably heard the news, Star Wars gonna get re-re-re-re-re-..(etc..)-released.
This time it will be on Bluray!
Haters will hate...
Fanboys will love...
I, myself, don't really have an opinion on this. It's kinda great, ton of other movies were also rereleased a lot anyway (look at the Superman movies, all the 3D movies, 30s movies, etc..), though Star Wars did mark people a lot more with the heavy edits.
It will have new scenes in all 6 episodes. That's not a surprise either, though I gotta admit Luke building is light sabre as the opening for Return of The Jedi is a nice addition. The original SW movies didn't have enough Jedi-esque sequence.

Anyway, I'm writing this news to talk about the very fun and entertaining Clone Wars CGi series, which complicated the expanded universe in a way, but also offered some original concepts. (such as more Separatists point of view, a more human look on the Clones, more mandalorians & Bounty Hunters and other neat stuff in non-Anakin centered episodes).

Watch it before insulting it! It's Eyz-approved!

LucasFilms revealed the trailer to season 3.
Im still one season late, I'm waiting on the DVDs to catch on.
Anyway, this trailer revealed a new strange character that a painting at the recent Star Wars Celebration hinted at:

Yes, that dude in the foreground.
Is that guy related to Darth Maul? It seems so...

Season 3 will introduce us to his "brother" Savage Oppress!
Dude was destined to go dark side with a name like this. 'Always liked those silly SW names! :P
My only complaints? Where did this guy come from? He suddenly appears right here, from nowhere and nobody heard of him before?! If only he had been previously introduced in SW novels or Republic comics....

Anyway, here's the trailer:

Alternate:

Looks neat!
The only 3D-thingie I watch~
(as in "3D models", not in a crappy 3D-glasses sort of way)

Oh, and this season will also bring back the Republic Commandos.
What are they? They were a super bunch of clones, more Jango Fett than simple drones who appeared in the great overlooked, underrated FPS going by the same name, last console gen, and a bunch of SW novels too.

Dave Filoni said he was a big fan of those guys and the game so he will bring those guy in this new season.

Now, where's Quinlan Vos?!

I've been into SW comics not for a long time (not even a year I started reading those) and there's a lot of very good stuff to check out!
