Before "Year One" reimaginations, before modern "Secret Origins", before the goofy Silver Age or the gritty Bronze Age turned things either too silly or too serious...this was the original Golden Age origin story!!
I really do like the Golden Age. Sometimes I wish everything that happened after it didn't happen and legacy characters like Batman and Superman were still fresh and new and hadn't been re-interpreted so many times.
It's really strange to see how must comics started out serious, as great literature as comics, only to become silly during the silver age, back to serious during the 80s, silly/xtreme in the 90s, back to gritty in the 2000s and now we have this positive thinking/Heroic Age/Brightest Days in comics again....
