The game will be done under Bethesda Softworks' all overseeing eye.
This sequel to the 2006 episode is expected to hit in 2012.
The game is supposed to be built around a more open ended world instead of the previous' linear stages.
And it seems Tommy got replaced.

Prey 2 or Cloverfield 2?
Doesn't have the same kinda atmosphere as the original... Though the plot seems to be about a similar type of alien invasion/abduction...
(1st impression guesses) I'm guessing the new game will take place around the same time as the first one. As the plane passes over where the events of the first game took place. The plane crashes as the aliens kidnap everyone. This new guy will try taking back his equipment (is he military? special forces?) in the wreckage of the plane. And the goal will be to find the girl and the day.
