I think it was first Knightfall, then after that came Batman Cataclysm which led to the destruction of Gotham City. No Man's land was the finale of the two story arcs.
Yeah. Knightfall was its own separate event if memories serve right. I think there were like 3 mini-arcs in Knightfall (Broken Bat, something and Knight's End) and a whole year or two after that Contagion, Cataclysm, No Man's Land.
Anyway, I could imagine it serving as basis in a Nolan-esque Batman movie :P
