This is from a Xena convention back in 2008.
Here's Ted Raimi singing, as great as he is.
So epic!
Loved it! Quite badass how he was all James Bond-villain like! :D
And the part where the mic f***s up the song is also pretty funny. Well played Ted, you stayed perfectly in control of the situation!

FanFilmFriday: Jason Takes NASA
Here's an oldie but a good!
From those old Mad TV sketches.
A little crossover you wouldn't expect! Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees Takes The NASA!!
Found this video some time ago, recently. Something I had on my computer for, like, ten years ago. It was fun watching these random videos we used to share by email with my ol' buddies...

Old Spice Commercial - Bruce Campbell
Old Spice...
Here in Europe (or to be precise, the rest of the world besides the US), no one knows what that is :P
(Hey, there's plenty of other more famous International brands beside Old spice, ya know!)
Yeah, they've been pretty popular lately thanks to the thousand Memes there recent ads generated.
They've always been pretty serious with their marketing, from the composition of their ads to their choice of actors.
Anyways!
Here's a cult classic ad from them.
A commercial starring Bruce Campbell nonetheless!
Enjoy,
Now that's some epic writing right there! :'3
Love the painting on that wall behind!
Did you spot the hidden chainsaw?
Anime News! The upcoming(s) new Ghibli movie
Here's a (japanese) trailer for the latest movie produced by Studio Ghibli.
Kokuriko-zaka kara (From Kokuriko Hill/From up on Poppy Hill).
It was released not long ago in Japan (only for now).
It is the second production directed by Goro Miyazaki. And unlike his previous movie (Earthsea), it's getting a very good reception and reviews. Though it is not making a lot of money. (blame a very poor marketing compared to previous Ghibli movies, or a release around the latest Harry Potter, which Japanese love as well)
On a related note, Hayao Miyazaki revealed some informations regarding his own future Ghibli production.
Development was started already. And it's sheduled for 2-years long of production time at least.
It's going to be a big budget title for summer 2013.
It will also take place during the Showa era, before Goro's movie above, probably around the 30s or 40s.
It will take place in a realistic setting this time.
It is an adaptation of an auto-biographic story.
They will use approximatively over 250 000 celluloids to animated it (around the double of what Sen to Chihiro/Spirited Away used).
Besides that? Not much information for the moment regarding the plot/story/characters...
I guess Joe Hisaishi will return to score the music.
And that is all for this time~

STAR WARS News! See Anaking slowly turn to the Dark Side
Four Seasons already!
Time sure went by fast for this show? I can believe it has already been running for that long...
Anyway, here's Star Wars: The Clone Wars - the Season 4 Trailer:
Looking great!
Good :D
Love those underwater scenes!
We need more EU allusions/crossovers, like the Republic Commandos or Quinlan Vos we got in the previous season.

VGR PoP Forgotten Sands
The Sands of Time Trilogy might have been closed with Two Thrones but with a new interest in the series thanks to a movie adaptation, Ubisoft thought it was a good commercial move to bring the series back in an all-new episode just for this time.
A new game was released amongst most systems. In what I like to call the "Forgotten Sands chapters" (which would have made a much better title for this game IMO).
Like Untold tales or Missing chapters, all these games across the different consoles aren't the same but instead different episodes taking place in the 7 years gab between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within.
This is a review of the "Next Gen-version" available on Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
Warning though, this is in no-way a continuation of the 2008 installment, The Tree Of Life, which has been put on hold for this episode and the Assassin's Creed franchise taking all the resources and time at Ubisoft.

Gamin' NEWS! New Batman: Arkham City trailer - Enters Mr. Freeze!
Here's the latest trailer showcasing Batman: Arkham City.
This time introducing Mr. Freeze to the Arkham-games!
Not 100% fan of this design for Freeze, but there's been some worse adaptations in these games.
The face/general body type remind me a bit too much of Scharzy's Freeze... The ice powers look amazing though.

Random pic of the day - Jabba sushi
Now, that's quite artistic!
Check out more of this amazing artistic Star Wars-inspired food and others on My Sushi World blog.
Would you really eat this? I dunno for you, but it would be like destroying the Mona Lisa or the Venus DeMilo for me... Even as tasty as it looks~

Videopac games - 3 more titles!
Around a year ago, put up on the blog a picture of all the games I have on the Videopac/Odyssey².
Here's three more games I added to the collection, that I found on the local market one of these past weeks.
It's getting harder to find the missing games :P
Yay!
Well, two of these seem pretty random, but I can't wait to try out N° 37! Looks like a fun little arcade title.

ThunderCats Scene - the garden of delights
Well, I finally watched the pilot of the new relaunched ThunderCats cartoons...which was pretty awesome.
Like watching one of those big budget Hollywood Lord of the Ring movies, but instead of a 3+ hours movies it was 40 minutes of animated epic heroic fantasy. (with a hint of scifi)
Though I've never been much of a fan of the original ThunderCats...
I dunno.. It was your typical mid-80s generic sloppy-animated cartoon made just to sell toys. (like G.I.Joe or Transformers), never been a big fan of these fake commercials personally...
Anyway, check out this amazing moment from the old cartoon:
Thundercats - the garden of delights par eyzmaster
That's one has one hell of a trip!
An anti-drugs message?
On another note, gosh! were those chara designs silly and badly animated XD
