#CollegeHumor - "Animation: Too Many Avengers"

With the Avengers out (I should really take the time to watch it....soon....), here's a pretty awesome animated parody from CollegeHumor:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how the general public's starting to feel, with all these superheroes around each other, teaming up.
They seem to be loving Avengers - for now. But you might see some eyebrows rising if there will ever be an Avengers 2 some day...

  1. Well, obviously the studios will want to make another one. (-> $$$)
but I'll believe it when I'll see it :P

Also, how can you top an alien invasion? Another bigger alien invasion?
Marvel and Avengers fans can easily imagine that, but the lambda movie goer? It might suffer from "too much"-syndrom!

(obviously,, from a marketing standpoint, the best will be to make a couple more Marvel films first, some more tech-based like Antman no doubt, as hinted by Edgar Wright lately on his twitter, some more magical ones like Thor probably, and even one alien-oriented like a Silver Surfer - but another one since 20th C.Fox got that one - before making a bigger more heroes-filled Avengers 2...which might make money but get lots of confusion and bad reviews from critics alike)

^that's just me being super negative/realistic.

  2. You know this is all business, so at the end of the day, it will depend on stuff like production, costs, etc. Studios will make one if they see that will bring them some money in :P
Fan-Speculations is fun, but at the end of the day, not that important :/

Yeah, I'm kinda bored by the usual random big Hollywood productions. That's why the Avengers was the 1st movie I've finally watched again in theaters after over a year of no watchin' any.
(mostly, it's all in 3D these days, which I avoid, and it's so much more expensive.. I prefer to see them on DVD and wait a bit)

I wouldn't wait too much for the likes of Luke cage or Doc Strange... I mean, I don't they'll make those... Or it will be cheaper Fox-like lackbuster movies..
