I always wanted to review a couple of comedy albums, so it's time to finally do so!
Let's start with a classic...

As far as stand-up comedy go, Jerry Seinfeld is an all-time classic well-established figure. Right alongside the older generation that marked and inspired him so much as a kid, Bill Cosby, George Carlin or even Jay Leno.
"I'm Telling You for the Last Time" first aired live on HBO back in 1998, coming up just short of a couple of weeks following the Seinfeld Series Finale.
This special was recored live at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City, and received a simultaneous release on VHS, DVD and this CD here.
A sort of way to preserve his classic riffs after and outside the show.
I'm Telling You for the Last Time is typical classic observational humor at its finest.
This special is an hour+ long show.
In which Jerry Seinfeld goes through his classic routines, mostly all those older bits reused through his show, made popular through the Seinfeld series.
Jerry Seinfeld is a great storyteller. His calm voice and little quirks make the show. He goes from one joke leading into another.
A taxi takes him to the airport, to Florida, then he goes back into his childhood memories, arrives in his adult life, how weird it is, going to the supermarket, going to the doctor and finally ends the show around some of his new-found hobbies.
The CD version also contains a portion from the live Q & A instead of an encore. Mostly questions around the Seinfeld TV series.
It's funny, always enjoyable and highly re-playable.
This special was nominated for a a Grammy Award back in 1999.
Overall, an all-time classic comedy album!
As always with Seinfeld, it might seem like very basic stuff. His material is pretty simple when you come down to it. But the best is always the way he delivers it.
His observations of the most usual mundane day to day life turn out great with his sense of humor.
It's definitively worth a look for non-fans and just a "must have" for any long-time fan.
This stand-up special was his last performance of his classic material from the Seinfeld show-era.
An highly recommended CD for any fan of comedy!
