This here is probably the best ever attempt at recreating an old school 1930s-style cartoon in our modern days.
It's also te music video to Squirrel Nut Zippers' awesome catchy "Ghost of Stephen Foster".
It's not a surprise that this music video was the winner of "Best
Animated Music Video" back in the 1999 at the Vancouver Animation
Festival. It was directed by Raymond Persi and Matthew Nastuk.
And it looks no doubt better than any attempts these days at classic cartoons' animation (mostly done in Flash nowadays... sigh..)
