Everyone’s talking about the PS5 or the Xbox Series X lately (we’re still going with that name, Microsoft? Really?...)

But here I am - super stocked super hyped, finally getting my hands on...

The Neo Geo X!!

(Yes, “X” as well, but no silly “Series” X thingie.)

I dreamt of getting my hands on a Neo Geo my whole life. And while I saw their prices getting higher and higher with the bigger demand from collectors and retro gamers and the little available units.. (Not even talking about the games themselves...)

I had my mind and my eyes set on a Neo Geo X-portable/hybrid re-release. I kept checking these from time to time. And with the confinement finally letting go and opening back up international shipping - I finally grabbed one of an auction.

And here it is in all its glory!!

Talk to me about PS5 and Series X all day.. if you know me, you know what catches my attention. And it’s certainly not modern “AAA” blockbuster “games as service” with on demand micro-transactions, etc. Just gimme some old school arcade fun. Preferably from SNK, Sega, Capcom...
