First of all, on the newly announced characters' side:
We'll have:
- Spencer from Bionic Commando: great pick for a fightin' game! His arm will provide pretty kickass attacks! Also, he is using his 2009 game look.. I like it, but I'm pretty sure I'm one of the only two guys who actually loved that game so... (that game was great! a sequel, story-wise, and introduced many neat ideas...though the reviewers and most angry fans hated it...) I'm expecting his original look to be also playable,
- Arthur from Ghost 'n Goblins: Heck Yeah! Finally! Making his debut playable role after appearing in previous games as a cameo/striker!
- MODOK who is mostly an X-Men villain: Original choice here! Now, because of this one, I'm half-expecting Squirrel Girl, as obscure and random as she would be, to be playable too!
- And finally, Magneto from the X-Men: Again, nice choice! Fans will be pleased to have the evil mutant dictator playable!
And here's the introduction videos:
What's new other than that?
Here's the plot as described by Capcom:
Wesker and Doctor Doom try to take over both Capcom and Marvel's universe. They make a team of supervillains to do so. And so, it's a "Battle that will decide the fate of two worlds." as in Fate of Two Worlds of the title.
Also, alternate costumes have officially been revealed.
First look? Spider-Man:
Classic Spidey, Symbiote Spidey from Secret War, Iron Spidey from Civil War
and NotNamedYetNewTron-yshCostume Spidey from a current comics where he uses a new suit against Hobgoblin.
Let's just hope they'll be available from the go/unlockable instead of stupid on-disc payable DLC like SF4...
And finally, a bunch of brand new pics for ya!
It's all looking pretty fun so far~
When will Capcom strike a deal with DC Comics too now?! XD
Oh, come on!
ReplyDeleteThat game pretty fun and over the top! Sort of like ol' Schwarzy flicks!
In one of the bosses, Spencer even shouts "Hey! Is that a big health bar or you just happy to see me?"
