#Gaming NEWS! The granddaddy of survival horror games seem to be back in full force

I'm glad Capcom hasn't announced yet a new Resident Evil 7. At least as long as they put the focus back on horror in their iconic franchise.

They just released a proper trailer for Resident Evil: Revelations 2. This Revelations "side-series" seems to be the only good RE they're able to pull off these last few years. Between over-the-top action in the main games, a questionable Operation Raccoon City and the likes... If anything this series was made to offer episodes taking place in different points of the series' timeline. Meaning no silly over-the-top insectoid virus, but proper zombies and old school monsters.

RER2 will this time star returning character Claire Redfield and along "Barry's daughter" Moira Burtonearly. And the game is scheduled to be released in early 2015 as a weekly episodic title before the eventual complete disc release on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. It's Capcom, what were you expecting? Weird experimentations like this and any possible way to grab as much $$$ from the fans as possible.

Here's the trailer:
