Mega Man Universe:

It seems, from the little bits here and there, that this will be a new 2D Mega Man, which will let the player decides and creates the experience, his Mega Man experience. Like, you're an old timer, fan of the original Mega Ma, this will provide a similar experience! You jumped on later with Mega Man X? Well, you can play this new game that way...
Other than that, not much info...
Is it 2D, 3D? Nope... Surely a sidescroller, though.
And from the looks of the teaser, you will be able to play for the first time with the Mega Man from the box covers, you know, that realistic yellow-ysh Mega Man! And Ryu. And many more...!?!?
And on a side note:
Super Street Fighter 4 will be coming to the arcades with new challengers!!
I wonder who those will be...?
More SF3 characters?
Maybe this recent Capcom post may have a clue...
(since they will be making some pictures available to gamer's icons...might as well use some "future" characters that will be re-introduced, no?)

ReplyDeleteOh, and I know the chances are slim, and Capcom keep sayin' they don't own the rights anymore but SKULLOMANIA!!! (who appeard in some other non-SF games since SFEX!)
I have no idea what they've got planned for Megaman universe, is he gonna steal the powers off famous Capcom character's alike? If that's the case Dante please : B

The way I see it, and from the bits of information Capcom said so far;
ReplyDeletethis is more like 2011 new 2D Mega Man, like previous years got M9 and M10.
But this time they're tryin' to be original. And won't make a third 8 bit Mega Man, but something new.
If you're a fan of classic Megaman, you'll be able to play it that way, or tune the game and character and play it Mega Man X-style.
Plus new characters,etc.. (such as guest Capcom characters or other Megamen from Legends, the US covers...)
It's a customisable sidescroller game with customisable character and powers~
(at least that's what I'm gettin')
