VGR Desert Speedtrap

#Design - PC Freedom Cry, Final Exam, Hydrophobia & Rocket Knight custom cover art

Please! Do not ask for these! This was a personal job, not outsourcing the work to other people. If you want me to work out something for you, I will do so for money only.

I'm not a big steam-user or just big on digital games because I admit it - I'm totally materialistic. I need some actual boxes to feel a sense of "ownership". That's why I decided to make a few mockup covers for a few digital games I own, at least to motivated myself to finally play through these this year and still proudly have them in my collection next to the rest of my games.

I'm not allowing the comments below to avoid the spam I usually get on these.

VGR Lollipop Chainsaw

Sweeter than candy on a stick, huckleberry, cherry, or lime. If you have a choice he'd be your pick, but Lollipop is mine~

Let's celebrate International Women's Day with gaming's most badass chainsaw-wielding gal!

Flowers, sun, rain, some guy named Mondo and people killing the past? Time for a Suda51 game!

#Blog - Hey Eyz, what's up!?

I'm currently thinking about my reviews, and how often/regular I should keep those. And if I should just make fewer reviews about big stuff (blockbuster films, etc) or keep reviewing all the smaller stuff (tie-in comics, obscure games, etc).

Hey Eyz, what's up!?

I'm still undecided regarding my next John Carpenter review: Escape from LA, the Big Trouble in Little China comics sequel, The Thing prequel or The Thing video game.. Hmmm...

Speaking of games, once I have (re)played through the last few Jurassic Park games for 16-bit systems AND finished my playthrough the adventure game Lost Horizon, I shall finally play Telltale Games' Jurassic Park: The Game! This should be fun... (or not, according to most reviews..)

Eyz out!
If like me you're a big TMNT fan, then you'll be pleased to know the modern Nickelodeon Ninja Turtles will cross over with the 80s animated Turtles in a crossover episode soon!

And the crossover will even go both ways! Look at them! The 80s Turtles! In CGi!! Woah!!!

#Cartoon NEWS! First look at DuckTales reboot!

Disney released a first look of the upcoming DuckTales reboot to air on Disney XD in 2017!

Wow! All I can say is that this looks good!

Suck it up, nostalgic fans of the 80s show, I just adore how this got a similar vibe to the current Mickey Mouse shorts while drawing a bit of inspiration from the original Carl Barks comics (the 80s show had a much rounder simplified look going on, for animation purposes).

I can't wait to see how this looks in motion!

And here's the original tweet:

#Fanmade GHOSTBUSTERS Fancut teaser trailer recut

Alright, I'm starting to honestly get hyped about this film!

This fancut by Bevan Bell fixes a lot of the problems I had with the original official trailer for the new Ghostbusters film. Manly cutting all the plot details, keeping things vague, throwing away the mention of the previous films since it's supposed to be a reboot (none of that "back in the 1980s, 4 scientists saved the world, yadda yadda" thing) while bringing back the original atmosphere of the series. Check this out:

Now, that's more like it!

I still say this looks good. Maybe it's because I watched too much of the GB cartoons and read too many of the comics, but I like the idea of new people being Ghostbusters. It plays into something all of us in the fandom dreamed about: anybody can be a Ghostbuster. Be it the original SNL older generation or the new SNL cast. (And it could have been worse, thankfully we didn't get the likes of Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler in this reboot..)
