Krampus seems to be the exact type of Xmas film I've been wishing for years. And it's written and directed by Trick ’r Treat creator Michael Dougherty!
Even the poster has a great old school 80s horror film vibe (above)!
It's a fun twist on your typical Christmas family comedies, just look at the cast - it stars Adam Scott (!!), David Koechner and several other faces you might have seen in other PG films. Only this time it's a full-on horror/black comedy film:
Here's a compilation of all the opening themes from the anime Kimengumi - one of my favorite series. (Although I'm mostly a fan of the actual manga to be precise)
It's kinda funny how the Kimengumi (the guys) themselves kinda disappeared over the openings... Ha!
Marvel just released a new "teaser trailer" for the upcoming Netflix show Jessica Jones, which might remind you of the Daredevil motion poster:
To remind you all, it's based on the Alias Marvel Max series created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and illustrator Michael Gaydos. All the promotional material seem to hint at some Noir influence and some dark humor as well.
I like how this show's been given a more purple tone (the Purple Man is coming!!), compared to DD's red tones. Green for Iron Fist and yellow for Luke Cage?
I gotta admit, I'm soooo pumped! I cannot wait for this show!
Why do people say Batman has a "no kill" rule? That's just an excuse to explain how serial killers like The Joker are still around after all those rules!
Did you know Bats spends most of his films killing people off left and right??
Surprisingly enough, George Clooney's Batman didn't kill anyone... so he was the most faithful one to the comics - somehow? Yay..?
Dane Cook used to be one of my favorite comedians. 'dude at it all going on. Then he went too big too quickly, made a few bad moves and starred in several crappy rom-coms. But he actually managed to make one fun decent comedy starring Andy Dick in a pretty funny memorable scene:
