I'm so glad to see Winona Ryder back in her iconic role!

I welcome Jenna Ortega as the new "it" cool goth girl! *we're not worthy!*

And Michael Keaton seems like he didn't skip a beat, despite how many decades passed.

I also did how the title is simply BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE. Now they better end up making a third one to complete the trilogy/summoning!

See the Spider-man grafs? The Michael Keaton!Vulture tease at the end? It's the Rise of Sony's adjacent MCU-less MCU Sony Spider-Verse. Yeah. Like the MCU TV shows. It will reference the larger MCU, but I doubt it's gonna go both ways.

Morbius is directed by Daniel Espinosa and also stars Good Omens’ Adria Arjona. It hits theaters on July 31.

Here's another super memorable scene from Beetlejuice, a favorite of mine.
The wedding scene!

I just love the way that creepy house came to life with all the puppets and stop motion in this scene.



A modern day sequel (as in "Beetlejuice goes Hawaiian", that long rumored sequel that never got made..) would never capture the grittiness/gothic/dark humor of the original.
Specially not with crappy "in your face!" CGi...

Dayum... Winona Ryder was such a cutie back then^__^
