#BestOF KEANU, DMT HolyShit Drug experience - George Michael trip

Here's one of my favorite scens from Key & Peele's feature film Keanu. When someone experiences a very George Michael-esque drug trip...

Love that thing he does with his leg, that's my jam!!

RR Robin Williams - Weapons of Self-Destruction

I originally didn't plan to review this at the moment, but due to what happened earlier this week, I think the better would be having a look back now and do the review as a tribute to this great funny man.

Some people will always remember Robin Williams the actor. Or even Robin Williams the voice actor. But for me I will forever cherish his memorable hilarious stand-up comedy routine, always ready with a sharp witty commentary, funny observations, his inimitable imitations and his hilarious act.

More Stand-up Comedy reviewed below:

#PSA - Drugs Drugs Drugs: Which are good? Which are bad?

This summarize PSAs at their finest:

This almost looks like it's promoting the opposite of what's it supposed to, Drugs.

All these people appear to be on drugs! Children and cops alike!

Ad - Parisienne People

Here's a very strange ad for cigarettes by Lynch.
I dunno if you know this, but David Lynch directed a lot ads during his career.

This is definitively one of the oddest ones.
Playing in reverse...or is it... or is that the way they're representing the world while under the drug...some form of hallucination... It's really hard to get it!

Anyway, I'll leave it to your own interpretation...

Only one thing comes to mind:
Don't Do Drugs!~

PSA - "This Is Your Brain on Drugs"

Here's another classic anti-drugs PSA.
From 1998.

This one is quite well burned forever on my mind (and many others), because it features a lovely Rachael Leigh Cook (Josie & the Pussycats, Get Carter, Batman Beyond, She's All That,..) going crazy on a poor and innocent kitchen.

Blame it on crack.

I still find her pretty gorgeous in this one to this very day~ <3
This PSA made quite a sensation back in the day, everyone heard and talked about it.
Now that's how you make people listen to your public announcements, heh Pee-Wee?

This cult famous video was directed by Eden Tyler and written by Ken Cills and Doug Hill.

PSA - "This Is Your Brain..."

Any questions?

From the famous 80s/early 90s anti-drugs PSA campaign.
This is the original one from 1987.

PSA - "Anti Weed" Commercial

To stay on the subject of this past week random PSA I blog-posted here, here's one more PSA.
This one unlike those (from the 80s) is a modern one.

I can understand the idea, but the message is a bit buried beneath the way they choose to deliver it...

I mean really?
A talking dog?
You don't even need to check out this video's comment on youtube to know no kid will take this seriously whatsoever...
Is she already stoned? Won't she keep doing so to avoid/continue hearing her dog talk? A talking dog seriously?? (what is this, Garfield 3: "The drug influenced talking dog"?)

Bwahahahahahahaha!

PSA - Bruce Willis anti-crack

It's time for one more, here's Bruce Willis own anti-crack PSA

Yep, this one wasn't a funny one.
Simple, short, direct. Easily the best and most professionally done PSA I've seen so far, a thousand miles away from the modern current ones.

"Anyone who offers you crack is not friend, say no, you be the boss"
That's it! Period.
That's the way you should start and end a public service announcement.

PSA - Clint Eastwood talks about cocaine

You know what's more effective than Pee Wee talking about crack? Clint Eastwood talking about crack.
At least he got the presence, the tone and the voice you'll listen to, and believe.

Another one of these 80s classic PSAs, from the same campaign as the last one I posted.

PSA - Pee Wee talks about cocaine

Here's something random.

This one's a pretty well known PSA that has already gone around the interwebz...but I thought...what the heck, right?
Featuring none other than Pee-Wee Herman in this legendary anti-crack PSA on crack from the 80s:

I would have been okay with all this..if it was someone else (or better yet, the actor portraying Pee Wee...as himself!!!) saying such serious things.
How can you take it seriously with his silly voice and funny make-up?!?

ThunderCats Scene - Berbils

The ThunderCats cartoon is finally back from little break.
I hate it when cartoons go in hiatus. I'm okay with breaks in live TV shows, but in cartoons it's just annoying. Plus, do they hope the kids will be faithful enough to these shows with breaks like these all the time?

Anyway, ThunderCats is back this week and it seems this new show will live up to the old one.
To be specific...
To this old crazy scene on drugs.
In this week's episode, WilyKit and WilyKat will be...on crack!

Seriously!

I'll just leave you with this following pic:

ThunderCats Scene - the garden of delights

Well, I finally watched the pilot of the new relaunched ThunderCats cartoons...which was pretty awesome.
Like watching one of those big budget Hollywood Lord of the Ring movies, but instead of a 3+ hours movies it was 40 minutes of animated epic heroic fantasy. (with a hint of scifi)

Though I've never been much of a fan of the original ThunderCats...
I dunno.. It was your typical mid-80s generic sloppy-animated cartoon made just to sell toys. (like G.I.Joe or Transformers), never been a big fan of these fake commercials personally...

Anyway, check out this amazing moment from the old cartoon:

Thundercats - the garden of delights par eyzmaster

That's one has one hell of a trip!
An anti-drugs message?

On another note, gosh! were those chara designs silly and badly animated XD
