#SEGAnews Sonic the Hedgehog 3 | Official Trailer 2 (2024 Movie) Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves

Here is the trailer for the only upcoming movie I'm currently looking forward. That's right. There. I said it.

HERE WE GO BOIS AND GURLS!!

#SEGAnews Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) - "Final Trailer" - Paramount Pictures

The new Sonic Movie is looking pretty good! The latest trailer is full of hints, glimpses and references to the larger universe of Sonic, from a top notch recent movie poster to the recently announced Sonic Movie 3 and Knuckles limited series!

I gotta say.. I'm somehow really hyped for this! Maybe it's the perfect solution to the current superhero fatigue, which Sonic seems to be part of and allude to a lot.

Anyways, the film is out in two weeks!

The Sonic Movie sequel is looking... actually pretty neat?

Who would have guessed we would have MCU-levels Sonic movies? But it does look fun and epic!

Tails looks cute! Eggman's looking Eggmannier! And Knuckles is a badass!

#MovieNEWS Sonic the Hedgehog - Official Movie Clip (Jim Carrey, James Marsden)

New Sonic Movie trailer. And Sonic finally calls Robotnik "Eggman"!! Woo~ahhh!!

Is this film actually starting to look pretty good, or is it just nostalgia and fandom talking?? Wait and see...

#SEGAnews Sonic The Hedgehog (2020) - New Official Trailer - Paramount Pictures

So the ones following me on twitter might have noticed I kinda changed my tune regarding the upcoming Sonic movie.

And Paramount/Sony somehow did the impossible. We might actually have an enjoyable family-friendly on our hands!

Here is the brand new trailer, with the remade Sonic model:

It still feels and sounds like a "Sony movie". (Sony as in Smurf movies.) But this new Sonic movie model is miles better!! We went from creepy realistic Sonic to cartoonier cute Sonic!!

Also lot of scenes reshots while they were reworking the CGi. The whole car exchange is different (different clothing for the human dude). Better jokes, less cringe hyper Sonic, more AoSth smartass Sonic attitude.

And I gotta say I loved that Green Hill bit at the beginning!! Wasn't Sonic an alien that crashed on Earth in an earlier leaked draft?? Sounds like a Bay-TMNT level of reworking a doomed reboot.

Here's the much better looking new US, Japanese and international posters:

Here's some screenshots comparison, courtesy from sonicstadium.org:

You know, some of those almost makes me think this was "all part of the plan", no matter what PR said to the press. Like some of those were clearly badly rendered. Just look at Sonic sitting in the car, it was so static, so bad...

Was this all a public stunt? The delays were always planned to release it in a Deadpool february-kind of way... How did that early Sonic 3D model pass public showcase??

I mean look at this, it's night and day, I can't believe the whole "making VFx artists work over time, delay the film, fix Sonic"-thing.

LOOK AT THIS SHOT!!

What the heck is this monstrosity?

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS ABOMINATION!?!?

Worst movie ever made? Probably....

People are already comparing it to the 90s Super Mario Bros Movie or the Street Fighter one... Seriously? These movies are like fine desserts compared to this crap. This is like fast food vomit in comparison.

And the worst is that the cast is not even that awful, a Dr. Eggman Jim Carey channeling is 90s crazyness, Sonic voiced by Ben Schwartz and this random Tom Wachowski guy - James Marsden, the sheriff of Green Hills. But the entire rest? The visuals? The tone? The plot? The jokes? Goddamn...

I only believe this was purposely made awful, so people will go to theaters to hate-watch this film. People love to hate-watch stuff nowadays and then complain about it on social media.

And yes, the poster is probably the least awful thing of this whole reveal...

Sonic The Hedgehog hits theaters November 8.

#MusicBOX Jim Carrey - Cuban Pete

The film adaptation might have been miles away from its original source material, but I always loved this scene!

#Randomz - Jurassic Park VS Ace Ventura

Here's the best most epic mashup of films I've ever seen!

Perfect!!! XD

#Standup JIM CARREY IMPRESSIONS

Here's some funny random Jim Carrey impressions, a fun video compilation:

#Movie NEWS! Dumb And Dumber To trailer

Alright, this is looking way better than I feared...

#Movie NEWS! Kick Ass 2

And finally, here's a trailer for Kick Ass 2!

Jeff Wadlow takes over the director role since Matthew Vaughn left.

Will this one stick closer to Millar's comic? Will it continue to follow his own logic and ideas or force a return closer to the book?
Will it be as satirical and over-the-top violent?

Will it actually be good?

So many questions. I'll let you answer some of those for yourself on this Unrated trailer:

One thing is sure: Jim Carrey looks might epic in it!
Hopefully he'll provide much of the film's badassery and bring in some movie crowd like Nic Cage did for the first one.

Fun with Dick and Jane - I Believe I Can Fly

I believe this is actually the most fun I've seen of Jim Carrey in his recent movie career:

From the 2005 film Fun with Dick and Jane!
