It feels a bit weird to write this post right after the Joe Alaskey one, but here goes.

Bethesda just released a brand new trailer for the upcoming new DOOM game. And it is looking quite fantastic! Enjoy:



This is looking GREAT! I particularly love the over-saturated colors of this game. The demons look great and really pop up on screen! BLAM! HEADSHOOT!!

Can't wait to face Hell on Mars. Again!

#E3 NEWS! DOOM TRAILER!!

Speaking of DOOM, since I already posted the gameplay videos, here's the official trailer from Bethesda Softworks:

#E3 NEWS! Bethesda + Nintendo stuff

Time for a little first E3-recap!

In case you've been living under a rock or were just born yesterday (and in that case - what are you already doing on the Internet and reading English? Go back to bed, baby!), the E3 is the biggest gaming convention of the year... a few years ago. Seriously, the best stuff are always kept for the Tokyo Game Show, or the GDC, or Gamescom, or, heck, even Penny Arcade Expo!

ANYWAYS! E3 has still a lot to offer. From all these early announcement or reveal trailers to new tidbits. (Usually a lot of pre-rendered cutscenes that end up looking nothing alike the actual later games *cough*Watch_dog*cough*)

This year Bethesda opened up the floor with some kickass long-awaited surprises and Nintendo's already showing some fun new stuff.

#Cartoon NEWS! GOLAN THE INSATIABLE TRAILER

A new cartoon series will debut this week (on May 31!) on Fox' Animation Domination High-Def block. It's called Golan the Insatiable and it's based on a few dozen or so random shorts they already aired last year.

The series was created by Josh Miller. The girl is voiced by noneother than Aubrey Plaza (yay!) and this actual new series will feature John DiMaggio as well! Here's the trailer:



Sure, the artstyle and the animation don't look that great, honestly. But it looks fun!

#DOOM News! Doom 4 teaser!

That previous CGi teaser id Software & Bethesda released before was fun,  but now's the time for a first quick glimpse at in-game footage of DOOM 4!!



THOSE FEW SECONDS LOOKED SWEET! I love the little we've seen of this game so far!

Update: Looks already a far closer to DOOM than some of the earlier builds of the game they've supposedly scrapped and redone from scratch. Speaking off some actual footage/cutscene from an earlier versions was just released on DoomWorld:



All I can say is - GLAD THIS WAS CANCELED! While it does sort of look nice, like a post-apocalyptic take on Doom 2: Hell on Earth, in no way was this Doom. It looks more like a scrapped Rage 2 in fact. Also - sniper rifles in DOOM?! Head to the above link for more concept art and whatnot.

The actual game will finally be revealed at Bethesda's E3 Showcase next month on June 14! I CANT WAIT!!

#VertigoComics NEWS! LUCIFER trailer

Fox just released the trailer for the TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s comic Lucifer:



This looks pretty decent. Who would have imagined we would ever get a TV adaptation of the DC/Vertigo character Lucifer Morningstar!?

But why did they need to turn this into another crime procedural show?? They already did this with iZombie as well!! And I feel like that line was a Psych shout-out, anyone?

Now if only they could get a cameo of Constantine in there... Oh, and by the by, #SaveConstantine

The new series is set to premiere early 2016.

#TV News! All aboard the hype train!

With the confirmation of a new season of Agents of SHIELD and - surprise! - another season of Agent Carter (wasn't it just supposed to be a self-contained mini-series?), Disney/Marvel just released the first teaser pics for both shows:

Agents of SHIELD's 3rd season is being promoted with this shiny hi-tech new logo. My guess is that it means the show will revolve around Fury's mysterious box.

Attention Agents! Assemble for Season 3. 

The tagline is a bit cheesy, but perfectly timed with the new Avengers film we just got.

Agent Carter is back as well.

AgentCarter is back to work. 

I would love a little time skip. To introduce a young Hank Pym maybe..?

Meanwhile Marvel's other new upcoming series in development at ABC from with director John Ridley is still kept in secret. Some people (me included) would love a Ms. Marvel live series. And the Agents of SHIELD spinoff they announced a little ago seems to have been put aside. (A "Secret Warriors" series?)

That only lives us with AKA Jessica Jones which will debut on Netflix this fall.

Speaking of comic book proprieties, on DC Comics/Vertigo's side, here's the logo for the upcoming Lucifer series on Fox:
