#BackToTheFuture - Lexus has created a real, rideable hoverboard

Back to the Future is now 30. Which means I'm getting old.

More seriously (?), we're now the futuristic year of 2015. Where's my hoverboard?

Well, apparently Lexus International is honestly working on real-life hoverboards!



They're looking at really developing the technology by finding a way to make boards "slide" over the ground, instead of whatever idea people have been trying to make these things float these last few years. Which means we might actually be getting real hoverboards one day!

For now it's all prototypes, nothing concrete. But they've certainly stumbled upon a much more realistic and possible way to get there. Let's hope!

I'll keep on dreaming for now. (By the time we get the real thing, I'll probably be as old as old Biff in 2015...)

Anyway, I was missing MythBusters this morning, for some reason, and went looking for some clips on youtube.
That's when I found back this fun little compilation of the best one liners on Discovery's youtube channel:

Okay, this is just amazing!
The future IS now!!

Some manufacturer called Aerofex is working on actual hovering bike devices that float up to 15fr over the ground and can go up to 30mph!
And since they're designing in based on motorcycles...
